I've seen shows that explane how these old tricks are done. His illusions are super basic, stuff new magicians do, but he is a great showman and that is 90% of it. Magicians like Cris angel have an entire staff that invent new fresh illusions. Once this guy can perform at that level he will get the same backing.

the girl came in from the back of the cage because there is a wall otherwise it would be see through to the other side, and cosentino quickly checks the back, and then she pulls the curtain to signal she's inside, it's all just done very fast with a lot of practice

It's simple.. Someone was helping him, if it was a faster transition from the girl coming off the chair to him popping up in the air.. Then yes i'd be amazed but ofcourse you can see if you look closely there is a gap from where u popped up..so he must of just ran around fast like a stage crew person and hooked his hand up..as if the judges wouldn't know how he did it.. so silly. If I was a judge i'd check out where he came from instead of sit down and look like a idiot..Magic is just a illusion
