like any dog, french bulldogs can dog paddle, but they are weight forward and have very short snouts and short trachea's.This is extremely dangerous.I can personally name at least 20 that drowned in their family pool or lake.They have more bone than most breeds and tend to sink requiring more energy to keep not just their nose, but whole head out of the water.Irresponsible of you to put your dog in danger in this manner and notice 2 people there for safety.Next guy may not even supervise his dog
@ChatoKennel I know many people who teach their bull dogs and french bull dogs how to swim in case they fall into the pool. This way they can swim to the steps and climb out instead of falling to the bottom and drowning. At least by teaching them, they have a bigger chance of being able to get to the steps and climb out instead of dying.
keep water out of its ears ore else there is chance of it will get inflammation in her ears (maybe you could pore it out by holding the dog on its head)
@78bezziebudz I hope you're aware that most frenchies can't swim very well due to their top-heavy build, and might easily drown, so forcing him in the water is basically torture.
