  • omg... i love your playing...so much...

  • stray cat (Y)

  • No need to take your shirt of its already impressife enough.

I understand that its a solo preformance (thats wat you told me right)

im trying to get my knowledge of music bigger so i can get more "skilld" on my guitar

but you did a good job here ;) very good job

  • i was wondering if this is a solo then what does a riff looks like?

  • @LTD4liveESP

A electric guitar solo can be the sort of thing played by a long haired, bare chested exhibitionist on stage to thousands of screaming fans. A guitar player int he audience might say, "Wow. I've got to learn these "riffs" and "licks" to impress girls with."

A guitar solo can also be definedin the more traditional sense.

"An complete piece played by one person on the guitar."

I have no idea what a riff looks like.

Maybe next time I will perform this piece without my shirt.

  • @hersoveela

Electric or not, it has become usual to define Guitar Solo as the part of the music where the guitarrist plays a (sometimes) fast melody, being a sorts of "climax" of that particular song. So, there is a bit of a difference between a Guitar Solo and a Solo Guitar, wich you are doing here. Even if you took your shirt off (and please don't) this would still be a Solo Guitar, not a Guitar Solo. Also, good guitarrists play solos with clothes on ;) Ex? Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, etc..

  • @hersoveela

    LOL

  • @hersoveela This reply just made my day. Wonderful playing I must say. I am learning a piece similar to this. Great job.

  • @hersoveela I'm sorry to tell you this Sir, but the greatest electric guitar players play with their clothes on. Your description only describes mainstream rock, punk, pop electric guitar solos. There is actually a variety of sophisticated music that is played on the electric guitar. And a solo guitar piece is not the same as a guitar solo. What you played was a solo guitar piece, not a guitar solo.

  • @juanbestu Regardless i think the piece is quite awesome and displays real talent. Wouldn't you agree?

  • @KnightofAbsolution Yes I do agree.

  • @hersoveela

LOL! You 're as hilarious as you are talented.

  • @hersoveela

lmfao, i was following your vids for a while now, but your funny as fuck aswell :D

    Gotta love that :D

  • @LTD4liveESP the two can be interchangeable. Solo does not mean improvisation, but means to take lead or play alone. most solo's are a bunch of riffs (which are melodies lines.)

  • Very nice.... great style

  • Fantastico!

Quien es el musico? Buenisimo!!!! Me gustaria tener la coleccion de su musica! Will

  • dude he would be good at playin american life by primus on bass lol 5/5

    José Luis

  • just how do you do the tapping? you strum with your index at the same time you tap with your ring finger? how's that even possible?!

  • I think he is reversing when he plays a downstroke. When you play down with I, you come in with A. Its just alternating. Takes practice, I am not very good at it yet.

  • where can i get the tabs?? please!!!

  • It's just E7, Am, Dm, and some decorations on those chords.

  • Amazing, that's all i can say =]

  • Beautiful, Made me smile :

  • isn't this song was supposed to be played in vigorous but melancholic way?

  • fantastic , respect

  • yeah, its very similar. Working through that book myself, very fun and challenging

  • one of my fav song here on guitar

  • This chap (Sal Bonavita ) has to be the most selfless guitarist ever. His website gives away FREE, shedloads of Tab and lessons. Track him down on the web and send him a donation

  • Fucking amazing, I want your skills!

  • this is awesome.

  • this is awesome. I wanna buy guitar , but i dunno how much it pays : ) ? you re the best guitar man ever seen , really . really really

  • dude no offense or anything but who are you to say who's better?..they are two different styles

  • honestly, if youre not insanley good or put your name out there and really gig out there, msuic doesnt really pay for porches and caviar. however spiritually, you are rich

PS: I love the description on the video

  • Excellent. One of your best. I like your rhythmic variations towards the end.

  • AWESOME!

  • you have AMAZING talent, 100/5* keep it up!

  • you are the author of those songs? or u find them in another website?

  • This one is mine

  • wel... congratulations then... nice composition, but i wonder if it wouldn't sound better if you would play the last chord with barre on 5th threshold... i'm not a flamenco player, so i won't pretend your teacher, it's just my own feeling ;) 5* by the way :)

  • @hersoveela you played it nice it is very wierd that i play the exact same one and got it from pedro ciera

  • @kakinoki55 That's very interesting. I had never heard of Pedro Ciera before you mentioned him. The "exact same one" eh? Absolutely that is weird. I would dearly love to hear Pedro's version. As I said in the description, this is just bits and pieces I used to play in dance classes. Even while I was playing it on this video I was deciding what bits to put it as I went along. Weird indeed. Can you give more information like which album it comes from or any other source where I can hear this?

  • Excellent, thank you! You seem to have a real understanding of the style and I am inspired to practice now!

  • WOW

  • hola tu guitarra es hecha en esoana o bulgaria? muy buena tu musica. estoy pot aprender flamenco

    inspirational stuff as always! thanks

    derek :-)

  • I love near the end of this Farruca, very unique how you play it. Lol cant get enough of it.

  • wena compadre, le salio bkn

  • He has a face as if someone was forcing him to play and he really has no interest in playing.

  • i agree with you xD He look like someone without emotions xD

  • "He look like someone without emotions xD "

I like that. I hate it when people move their heads like fools and make faces like crazy monkeys while playing.

  • Like boy that must play and rather look through the window outside, wonder what his small friends do :-D

    (But this boy play excellent!!!)

  • can i play with a classical guitar but with steel strings instead of nylon

  • and its funny how every1 thinks ur spanish haha

  • mka ea tutorial of this PLEASEEEE!!! this is really good..but then all ur songs are good =)

  • Many classical guitars only use nylon because steel would break the guitar.

  • I should add another thing, metal strings don't tie so great either. Nylon can tie on the saddle.

  • damn good for being distracted by a sray cat lol

so that guitar just a typical accoustic with nylon strings or is it specificly made for flemenco style playing? the neck def looks wider than my accoustics neck

  • This is a typical nylon string guitar. Although I don't know the exact details about origins or brand, it appears likely to be an S Yari flamenco (circa 1972). I would not call this sort of guitar an acoustic, even though it is by definition. When someone says "acoustic guitar" they usually mean a steel string guitar that is typically played with a pick. This guitar is definitely nylon string only and has a standard classical guitar neck design fretboard width.

    Sal

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu !!!!

  • muy bueno!!

  • Your playing is awesome!! Great song!

  • whos that guy he is great

  • Really lovely playing. what make of guitar is that you are playing?... I'm going to have to get one...

  • The actual brand and year is unknown since it has no label. However, the closetst match is a handmade flamenco "S Yari" circa.1972

    Sal

  • Thanks Sal... much appreciated.

  • who is this proffesional player?
