Bush is an idiot? Are you sure? He dropped the unemployment rate Clinton had which was 6 down to 4.4% It wasn't easy inheriting a mild recession from the Clinton era. And then 9/11 hit and that had further economic distress. Because of the Bush tax-cuts, the DowJones industrial average, productivity, wages, manufacturing employment all sky-rocketed. It wasn't even until the Democrats took over congress that people started losing their jobs and the economic crisis began.

You two are rather narrow. I lost my wife in Iraq, Oreilly's point does not apply to me. Sheehan is a woman who has stated her points, and she is supported by elements who disagree with the war. Just like Oreilly is supported by right wing elements who support the war. Both men make good points, and they represent the feelings of most americans, which is in fact what makes our country so great, we can have 2 viewpoints. For a long time in this country there were not 2 viewpoints, only one.

You obviously focus only on presumed intellegence and fail to consider other attributes like bravery, loyalty, sense of duty and sacrifice for others as well as many more, just as important, characteristics. Letterman tries to agrue about what he chooses not to fully understand. That's one reason he should just stick to entertainment.

Bush is an idiot? Are you sure? He dropped the unemployment rate Clinton had which was 6 down to 4.4% It wasn't easy inheriting a mild recession from the Clinton era. And then 9/11 hit and that had further economic distress. Because of the Bush tax-cuts, the DowJones industrial average, productivity, wages, manufacturing employment all sky-rocketed. It wasn't even until the Democrats took over congress that people started losing their jobs and the economic crisis began.
