I live a couple blocks from here and took a bunch of pictures of them. They looked really nat at night with the light from the billboards illuminating them from above. I liked watching them slowly disappear either from being damaged by the weather or from people taking them. They were finally raked up and put into a pile when the grass was cut about 3 weeks after they first appeared. I have no idea who the artist was either. Very mysterious!
