@BadgeBunnyDiva Thanks! Which blog? I'm really happy to think that I was listed on a blog for that kind of music. As for my music, it's not always explicitly Christian (I don't want to alienate non-Christian listeners), but it's never secular and I often incorporate Christian themes into my music. This song has a Christian theme, for example. You can often tell by reading the info box under the videos ;)

I think that if a person is looking for a certain type; genre, style or lyric within a song then they have to write it themselves - it makes it perfect for what they want to express. I think that I have just found the exact song I want to express to my girlfriend :) Thank you.

@tkdtrombone Thank you! But there was just something about these takes that compelled me to keep them. They had something no other takes did. I had to tune them like this because of the poor mic I recorded them on (iPod headphones!) causing too much unwanted artefacts in Melodyne. But overall I like the result and this is my second favourite song of mine :)

@funkymonker3 Whilst I really appreciate that, I can assure you that for this song, I was unable to make the vocals any better without destroying their sonic characteristics. This song is so hard to sing nicely, and this was the best take I got. The producer in me decided that the tuning job was a worthwhile price to pay (and it's, like, one song, and my very first at that - Owl City did it for his whole first EP). Trust me, it'll never be this bad again. I can sing better now ;)

I think you can make this sound a lot better without autotune

the lyrics are very passionate and autotune takes that away

but the instruments and lyrics are extremely impressive

@Nolanhod Yes, it's definitely my most auto-tuned song, but I think that this vocal take had something the others didn't, so I decided to use this one instead of a better-pitched one. I'm sorry you didn't like it; hopefully I have other stuff you like :) and thank you for the honest feedback.
