300 at first, but you then get wallets for collecting gold bugs that let you hold 600 for one bug and 1000 for all of them.

Link climbs so slowly... It's a more realistic animation than in OoT, but slower. Bah. Probably my only real complaint of the game, along with the quick obsoleteness of the slingshot.
Oh man, it never occured to me to lock onto the destination for the bomb. XD; Geez, you're really showing me up!

They made everything obsolete. They give you a cooler boomerang, the Spinner, and the Ball-and-Chain, and you use them all for two more puzzles in the rest of the game after their respective dungeons. But you use the Clawshot in every fracking puzzle. They love using it so much, that they even give you another one. : /

Yeah, but the Spinner is fun and the Ball-and-Chain is friggin' sweet. There are a number of Spinner switches, so I got more out of that than the slingshot.
