FIOS is amazing... itblew my mind i used to have comcast and i switched and fios is just beast... the internet is really good to i never get diagnosted internet connection problems anymore and the hd is just fukkin beast

Fios is better as far as TV service but not internet. CV is coming out with 101/15 for $99 a month on Monday. For me I would rather have better internet than TV service. You can just stream from Hulu online or *cough* get unlimited movies/shows from torrents. Did you have any issues with billing with Verizon? A friend of mine said the installation and billing was a nightmare with FIOS.

thats a big thumbs up. i have a feeling that traditional tv is going away. everything you watch is streamed, ondemand tv, netflix, youtube, hulu, even ur local news is streamed ... is the future. i cancelled cabletv and now only stream movies from netflix. i get the locals over rabbit ears.

20/20 is 2.5MB/s. When an ISP gives a speed, they say Mega-bits per second, or mbps. mbps is not the same as MBps/MBPS when the b is lower-case it means bits and when the b is uppercase/capital it means Bytes. So to calculate the speed you take the bits and divide it by 8, there are 8 bits in a byte. For example, if comcast was offering 8 mbps your actual download speed would be 1MB/s or 1000KB/s. They use bits because it makes it sound like more than it really is.
