This election with the media coverage was Affirmative Action at it's worse in my opinion. I've seen the whole video on the Anchorage newspaper site, and that "stinkers" thing was also just taken OUT OF CONTEXT to make her look silly!

That is what is causing all these problems. The whole video has her saying that "one apple spoils the whole barrel" and then when a reporter says something else about it, she says that one "stinker" makes the whole batch smell bad. Stinker as in spoiled apple.

Ive always been a registered and voting Republican, until this election. McCain and Palin pushed me briefly to the left. I don't want abortion to be legal, but why consider it a party difference when the Repubs never did anything to stop it when they were in control. My own children are black and wanted Obama along with their friends. When asked why they wanted Obama? Silence. It is a black pride issue. That is a great thing for people to have self-esteem but why base your self-esteem over a man who was voted for by the color of his skin?

There is a difference. Conservative Christians generally support a ban on abortion. Liberal Democrats fight to keep it legal. You are correct that talk is just talk, yet I will still be hopeful where there is talk instead of a party that endorses abortion.
