False economy, It is best to pay a professional for a job you can't clearly handle instead of trying to save a few bucks. In addition he and the camera woman should have noticed the lean on the tree towards the house. You needed a rope to pull the tree away from the house while cutting and on the back of the tree closes to the house you should off cut a little higher in an downward angle towards the front. next time research if there is a next time..

Any tree even close to that size thats close to a building should be topped out 1 piece at a time.Get a boom truck,put on your climbing spikes & safety harness,climb up & cut off 2-3 foot long sections,letting them fall AWAY from the house,other property or people/animals.Then when main trunk is all thats left,cut it so it falls away from the house.
