Look, I am American. It pisses me off that our companies are too cheap to hire Americans for tech support and things like that. It is very sad. I am NOT racist against Indian people. They are very nice if you talk to them. They are challenging to understand at some times, but that can be worked on. That is my only complaint. If they could learn better English skills, everything would be OK. They are very nice and professional, so I can't complain there. I try my hardest not to get mad at them.
@claytonjaros I Really Appreciate ur thinking n respect ur thoughts..I worked for customer service n Collections..It is really hard to work in a Call centre where u have to take back to back calls n even get worse when u get a call from frustrated customer..But I have always tried my best to be polite with customers mayb that is the reason I couldnt b a Good Collector so I had to resign from my job..but I really Appreciate n wish all American Customers to b nice as they are by nature..Hats Off

wrong. it's because 1) these countries have a very low purchase parity, so their workers cost 20 times less than an equivalently skilled American and 2) American law lets corporations cheat and pay foreigners abroad below the minimum wage. It completely undermines labor regulations.
Simply learning English words and sentences isn't enough, they need to understand meaning and context. Most of these people working in call centres haven't got a fucking clue, you may as well be talking to a machine.
Indians are sweet people but their English is just too damn difficult to understand on the phone. I tried to coach an Indian Call Center to neutralize their accent but it's almost impossible. They also may not deviate from the script as in their culture this would be considered a blatant act of disrespect to the heirarchal structure of the company...self-thinkers are discouraged.

I thought it was a really cool video. I would like to mention how efficient these call centers really are. Most of them are using out-dated computers, but their knowledge of IT is where they specialize it.

What?! I have worked for an Indian outsourcing company (I am European) and my Indian colleagues had extremely poor I.T. knowledge and there were many complaints about them.
I have also had to call tech support lines based in India and I have never dealt with such incompetence and rudeness - why do they refuse to deviate from their scripts? It's like talking to a robot!
