That's really interesting! Is the additional circuit on the A and B connectors of the motor hooked up to any external voltage?

The reststor connected between the A and B connectors on the motor is what controls the speed, there's no external voltage connected to them. The motor also has an internal potentiometer for speed ajustment, but it's not really needed in my circuit.

Now I understand how your circuit works. Yesterday I found that two speed motor and I made some experiments with it, it will work on a circuit like yours :D

If you use windows movie maker, go into tools > options.

Select 16:9 and click Apply, then Okay.

All videos resaved will be in widescreen.

Any other video maker/editer, go into the options/preferences, select 16:9 in the appropriate area and save the settings.

VERY AWESOME! Very good job editing and explaining! Very well done. Also it would be nice to have a machine modified to run at 15/16 IPS, half the regular speed, as there are some 2-speed machines like that. And, at least in the US, there are "talking book" tapes for the blind that run at that speed for extra time on one tape.
