@papapapa2010 I know plenty of Gardeners who are not hispanic and I know tons of kids/teens who would only they arent going to offer when they see you already have someone mowing your lawn. This whole issue isnt about who would do what work. Its about criminals who are taking more than the US is getting, and it has to STOP!

Have you seen the movie a day without a mexican? I highly doubt yoiu want to do the jobs that many illegal immigrants have to do. You probably think your better than being a maid or a busboy, heck I even know I can do more than that. But who else would do it? Stereotypes come from somewhere but I know people who came illegally and later gained their citizenship and those are the people taking care of your children and doing those minimun wage jobs.

The movie was very roughly made, but there is a message of how we take immigrants who do do these jobs, for granted. I don't know if your using the term "you" in general but I am not aqn illegal immigrant. Maybe you don't know much about American History but Americans alsways had some minority taking care of them. Slaves did the jobs nobody wanted to do, and after the industial revolution immigrating minorities did those jobs. What do you think defines an American, exactly?

Well, I actually agree with you. But only a tiny minority of Americans ever benefitted from this cheap labor. Only 5% of Southerners owned slaves and today, more Americans are hurt by cheap labor than benefit from it.
Migrant labor has always play it's role - but the vast majority of American infrastructure was built by hard working, blue collar white guys that woke up at 5am, put their boots on and went to work every morning for the last 100 + years.

All those blue collar white guys came from European ancestors. There are many hard working minorities who need a chance to make it in this society. America is a melting pot, and these minorities need to be given the chance to grow in this culture, heck Obama is our first Black President. There are also many immigrants who came to this country because they want a brighter future and are willing to wake up at 5 am to do so.
