Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I was looking for instructions and happened by your video. My son brought this home to me, used, but no instructions. I usually manually bake four loaves at a time. I just wanted to try this out. THANK YOU!
I bought my bread machine when I was pregnant with my son 18 years ago and it still works. Does anyone know where I may buy the kneading blade and gasket as I lost them. Sometimes I have problems with the bread rising and have tried to make sure the liquid for the yeast is the correct temp. Any suggestions? Thanks
Thank you for this tutorial! A friend of mine picked one of these up at her goodwill for me for EIGHT BUCKS! How cool is that? My first loaf is baking now.
(continued)....I would be more than happy to put them online free if anyone needs them - no need to pay anyone or get ripped off by some jerk. Just post here, and help me figure out how/where to post it (i have a digital camera and a flip vid camera but no working scanner....Perhaps an image hosting site?)
I would love to get a copy of the manual from you if you were able to figure out how to put it online! I just my machines today from a yard sale, but no manual. And mine also came with a screw that seems to go into the side of the baking pan near the top, any idea what that's for? Thanks! =)

Thanks for making this video, DAKAutoBaker. My DAK bread machine is still going strong after 20+ years and countless loaves of bread. It's a shame to hear that people are being scammed in regard to the instruction manual.....I have two original copies (bought machines for relatives and they came back to me when those relatives passed on)......
I have one of these and I love it... but the last loaf I made kept pulling the kneading blade out of its place. I wonder if it was just the recipe or if my bread maker is starting to go. My Mom wanted to sell it at a yard sale and I took it before she could. Great product, my Mom bought it new many years ago. Does anyone know, by chance, when the Turbo 2 was released?
The kitchen really is BAD. I hate housework in general, but that is so far past reasonable. I might leave dishes from one evening to the next morning, but not from months? ago. And you put it on video! ???
I paid $13 for mine and it came with a manual (not that I've ever used the manual and have since lost it, no big loss IMO). Use it quite often and have made hundreds of loaves with it.
Oh wow, klm11nexus! If you could have seen the state of the auto bakery bread machine someone gave me recently, you would have died! There were 2 maggots in it, as well as "poppyseeds" which were really bugs and droppings. I sanitized the heck out of that sucker, cleaned it thoroughly and plan on making bread with it.
I do clean on a weekly basis, but we aren't all rich enough to afford a cleaning person to come and do our dirty work.
H.O.L.Y. - freakin' - K.A.M.O.L.Y.... I have never seen such a disgusting kitchen. Look at that sink with the piles of weeks-old dirty dishes! feast your eyes on those FILTHY countertops!!!?
I cannot BELIEVE you posted this with your kitchen in that state of "call DCFS" shape.. and that you have no shame in living like that! forget the bread baking.... perhaps you should first try living as a human being, not an animal!?!

I just inherited an FAB 100-1 and the pan has a small hole in it with some kind of bolt that screws into it. Anyone know the purpose of it?

Wow, I just threw my old one in the dumpster, because the lid was broken and we got a new machine. Now I'm thinking I should have put it on ebay!

Would You have the info about minimum-clearance values for the DAK Auto Bakery-?
My room-mates usually LOVE the smell of the bread, but, 'some' that I make, they find offensive. (stinky-cheese, Marmite-bread etc.
I want to have a custom box made with air-holes in it so I may bake the (so-called) "offensive"-breads outside.
TIA

How much did you pay for it? I picked one up at a thrift store for $22. I got it home and ran it threw the cycles - seems to work OK...
