  • ye irland is f...ked !!! Im a uk musician our output is never counted !

  • Amazing what a year can do. UK manufacturing output is now growing at its fastest rate in 15 years.

    Wonder where we'll be a year from now? : ( or : )

    hmm.

  • irelanndf is beytter than england

  • prices falling are a good thing, but on the other hand the more white gooods you buy, the more child labour you support, most of our goods white or black or gray, might be from child labour, look at jfk indus est dublin, when it opened first most of the goods were made there in the factory in dublin, now what do you see, goods being imported into these places for onward sale. We are going hell, he is right.

  • Does this moron know that the one industry that grows in recessionary times is the gambling industry? People may be betting more online these days but they are still betting. the same can be said for Vegas as to why they are feeling the pinch. Vegas started feeling the pinch when people could access online casinos. I think you will see in future big US casinos going online in the future as the US relax internet gambling laws.

  • Gambling is a waste of money.. Buy a film or game or something that lasts.

  • @JaSheen89 I spend mine on Asian midget hookers.

  • @Antiks72

I am intrigued by that concept.

  • an important note as that asset deflation is occuring commodities are inflating...thats not a good thing if you like to eat

  • BREAKING NEWS!!! go cut that fuckin hair

  • agreed, boring, long haired guy.

  • Good video. But if you want some good news for Ireland, have a look at our CGNN good news # here on YouTube. Who doesn't want some good news, right?

  • you say 6.8 spent in last 5yrs to send asylum seekers back to their countries, wow. Another 6 thousand are evading deportation? Justice ministers have signed almost 8500 deportation orders with 2500 ending in repatriation? U got this from the tribune/pat dublin??!! and then you got spammed.

  • well the pat talbot bit was an advert for a candidate in a recent by-election and that would have been cause for some to spam

BUT....even without mentioning PT at the end....YES a factual statment quoted from mainstream journos gets spammed on Irish sites

  • handsome fellow is'nt he

  • Also the unions have also not agreed to go on strike they just put them off for to see if they can get the government to reverse their decisions. Come summer we will have open rioting on our. Our police and army are preparing for this as they are undergoing crowd and riot control.

  • What the article about Ireland doesn't mention is that Irelands' social welfare bill is €21 billion and our public sector bill is around €4.4 billion. Yet the country will generate about €32 billion this year not the €34.5 billion as stated in the FT article. The country will have to borrow €20 billion this year and probably more again nex year.

  • I swear to god, I will start reading stuff by myself if you don't put up a new video. I am not bluffing

  • Sir Mike

yes you are knighted, at least in my book!

hope all is well, miss your news!!

    J

  • Haven't you all heard! The recession is over! Yey.

I think a lot of middle-class men and women are aboot to be ht real hard.

  • Mike! Where art thou?

  • I am hoping to do a new video this morning!

  • Yeah!!!!

  • think

    reinhard

    has

    kidnapped

    mike ...

  • Mike

If you don't post another video soon; I am going to start reading the news by myself.

  • Bogus Hype!

The sale of 40.65 million shares at $123 each gives the bank roughly half what it needs to return the $10 billion of taxpayer money it took from the Troubled Asset Relief Program.

  • Who's your broker?

We've gone five (5) solid weeks with rallies, hardly a day without declines.

I'll say it again, what we're seeing now is an extremely overbought market! It's just about time to nail Goldman Sach to the floor!!

Securities Services net revenues were $503 million, 30% lower than the first quarter of 2008. n' Operating expenses were $6.80 billion, 10% higher than the first quarter of 2008. :o)

  • Thanx mike. Mike has updated his blog. Feveriam@blogspot.ill be in Cambridge in June mike. Drink on Me? Lol. Least I can do.

  • Wouldn't mind it at all!

  • Mike, Come out, come out wherever you are.... :)

  • What is that tapestry behind you? The words seem vaguely familiar, and I know I won't rest easy until I find out!

  • Mostly latin.

  • Well I figured that much, but what is it exactly? A historical document? The Magna Carta?

  • what is in swiss cpi? is it political like US or is it honest?

  • baton down the masses the Cull is coming

  • Here's the funniest thing in the world.

Mike, you're gonna love me for your next headline !

Obama has just bought a"dog"..... Theyve called it "BO" (which is freemason code), but its a "BLACK WATER POODLE".

    A Blackawter Poodle !

Its actual name is a "black-and-white Portuguese water dog", but if you look at it, its a POODLE !

Someone has had a joke, at his expense, and is definitely telling us something !!!

    "BLACkWATER" POODLE !!!!

  • Hey let's have another video hoser !! Hosehead and me are watchin the snow melt waiting for a new vid. Koo koo koo koo koo koo koo koo koo. Glad your back safe mike. I've had two people ask me about you now. You get around bro. P L U !

  • Thailand has declared state of emergency or something. Uprising on the move. Extended power to police forces and aggregation of people is limited to 5 in public.

  • This in Banghkok and its surroundings.

  • Listen carefully folks. And listen for a duration of time that will actually give yourself a chance.

  • Mark Thomas - Put People First G20 Protest. Excelent video.

    watch?v=mjKNja3m0zc

  • Cont... Do you really think Paulson and Bernanke handed over 7 trillion because they WANTED to. The collapse signaled the END of their Friedmanite economics and the debunking fo their OWN system, they really DID NOT want a return to Keynesianism. They were forced to by a general collaps of all credit and trade.

  • Hey touch. Get a new name. There are children who view this. Your obviously barely conscious so if you were to swallow a handful of rits and stay seated watch the videos you'll notice that mike has an uncanny ability of connecting the dots for you. How could you critisize something that presents a path to the truth which the powers that be so desparately try to keep covered. Change your name. Stuck around. Your in the right place.

  • raising taxes as a way to get revenue is like most government ideas counter productive. the wealthy with bidnesses have to sack workers to balance the increase tax load.... resulting in? thats right, less tax revenue for government....

the cause of most of mans problems are their solutions!

  • Or they can simply raise prices. which is the way most companies handle increased costs (including taxes). Seriously do people ever think their own thoughts or just parrot the right wing radio guys?

  • This little exchange shows that the hardcore issue is to maintain the current level of consumption.

  • Im actuall warming to the new world order idea.

I mean, its gonna mean less military, less work, and less tax, less pen pushing, less everything really.

And more time to sing and dance.

    Like in North Korea.

    Yippeeee !

  • Trollery abounds. Maybe let this vid cook for a week given the short attention span of the avg troll-Zombie.

  • Bankrupting the western world is a GOOD thing.

We will all come out of it, more equal, and better paid (pro rata).

My only concern, is that they will still overpay bankers and lawyers and peopel who only TAKE form the rest of us.

If they keep our wealth to ourselves, this realy could end up as the utopia we all dream of, with 2 days a week work, and no stupid laws.

OR, if its being run by devils, it will end up slavery, in hell.

    THATS my dilema !!

  • Google Adrian Salbuchi (Argentinian Economist) and you will find that greater EQUALITY is NOT the usuall outcome of these kinds of events. What usually happens is your worst night mare.

  • Yes, the problem really, is that teh kign hwo beat yu, runs the new system, just like he ran the old, so nothgin actually chnages.

  • I saw that vid. I daresay that economic collapse will be more beneficial to us in the long run than carrying on the way we have been lately.

  • Well I wonder if you know anyone who has lived through an economic collapse with the attendent reissue of Currency and impoverishment of the nation. The political takeovers and Coups that result. The riots and murders. My mom was born in 1925 in Germany and she had lots fo stories to tell.

  • Unbeknownst to you I was born in the USSR, so I've seen some shit. I'd rather deal with riots and murder than live in a tyrannical regime like Australia or the UK.

  • Fever, do you find yourself being detained, questioned more often as you travel around the world since posting these regular youtube video information blogs?

p.s. live in s.w. ontario also, perhaps path will cross at one of these tea parties someday...keep up the excellent work

  • TEA PARTY. from another blog site re: comments about the so called "grass roots" tea partys. Koch was a Texas Oilman. Koch industries is the Largest privately owned company in the USA. JH Marshall the Desceased husband of Anna Nichole Smith fortune of 16% of Koch industries kept the courts here in Houston busy for years.

  • Funny thing, though: it turns out this whole "populist" movement was a planned PR stunt funded by big-money right-wing backers of the GOP who specialize in faking grassroots movements to drum up opposition to Barack Obama

  • ... What hasnt been reported until now is evidence linking Santellis tea party rant with some very familiar names in the Republican rightwing machine, from PR operatives who specialize in imitation-grassroots PR campaigns (called astroturfing) to bigwig politicians and notorious billionaire funders.

  • . As veteran Russia reporters, both of us spent years watching the Kremlin use fake grassroots movements to influence and control the political landscape. To us, the uncanny speed and direction the movement took and the players involved in promoting it had a strangely forced quality to it. If it seemed scripted, that's because it was

  • So you agree that trhe Obama/Geithner rescue plan WILL bankrupt the country, and exposes a level of incompetence unseen in US government.

  • NO, not unless you include the 7.6 Trillion the Bush administration spent OFF budget in 2008 to avert a world wide financial collapse ( oh yeah it hasnt happened yet). google"What were you having for lunch when the whole world almost crashed and burned on September 18" Their hand had been forced. YOU have no idea how close we came to all fo the groceries doors being locked back last year.

  • I blame ALL government officials. Especially the ones with oversight. Obama's hand has been forced only to the extent that he is continuing the FED's plan. Obama could've just as easily let the banks fail, extended unemployment benefits to weather the reccession and funded a New Bank with the 700 billion. I refer you to Khanacademy on youtube. The details of this alternative are there. Bush opted to save his buddies as Obama opted to save his buddies at the expense of the American public.

  • If what you advocate wereto happen, namely a complete collapse of the world banking system like what almost happened on sept 15, 2008 I do not think merely extending unemployment bennnies would suffice when all shipping would come to a screeching halt. That IS what happened last sept. Ships filled with cargo sat idled at docks. I know people who trade that stuff and they said NOTHING was moving because of lack of credit. Hope you dont like eating, because that is what you advocate. So niave.

  • You choose to see a half full glass. That is admirable. But it does not change the fact, that the collapse is inevitable to the point that the likes of Jim Rogers have bet his family's future on it. In any case, you're telling me that you as a tax payer are comfortable with a plan that rewards to the tune of Trillions the exact same people that caused us to become bankrupt. You're more forgiving than I could ever be!

  • " But it does not change the fact, that the collapse is inevitable to the point that the likes of Jim Rogers have bet his family's future on it."

Not a bit sensationalistic? I would gladly bet that the future of Rodgers's family rests more on what Rodgers wrote in his will than on the prospect of an uncoming economic collapse.

  • If they inherit very valuable asian holdings as opposed to wothless greenbacks, I think his kids very much will appreciate their father. In any case, this is his publicly stated reason for the move.

  • "Bush opted to save his buddies as Obama opted to save his buddies at the expense of the American public. "

No. At the expense of the non US public. This operation was led through credit thus on the back of creditors (and creditor means here anyone outside the US who gives credit to the USD)

"Obama could've just as easily let the banks fail"

Really? How so? what about the debt?

  • He could have nationalized the banks. Set up a fund to supply credit to the real economy. A started with a "New Bank" free of toxic assets and the failed banks. See Khanacademy's series on the Bailout. Fever did link this on a previous post.

  • What we discovered is that Santellis rant was not at all spontaneous as his alleged fans claim, but rather it was a carefully-planned trigger for the anti-Obama campaign. In PR terms, his February 19th call for a Chicago Tea Party was the launch event of a carefully organized and sophisticated PR campaign, one in which

  • .Santelli served as a frontman, for the some of the craziest and sleaziest rightwing oligarch clans this country has ever produced. Namely, the Koch family, the multibilllionaire owners of the largest private corporation in America, and funders of scores of rightwing thinktanks and advocacy groups, from the Cato Institute and Reason Magazine to FreedomWorks. The scion of the Koch family, Fred Koch, was a co-founder of the notorious extremist-rightwing John Birch Society

  • "The 'writing on the wall' was first painted in the 70's "

In the 70s? No. In the 70, there were several writings on the wall. During the four last decades, decisions were made to biff some of those writings on the wall.

In the 70s, there were various outcomes.

If you look at how outsourcing was sold in 80s, one outcome was clearly outlined.

People in China...would work there, grow in wealth and the difference in wages would decrease, diminishing the incentive to outsource jobs...

    Yet

  • this outcome was put out of the cards with western countries offering promises of return much higher than other countries could achieve if they invested on themselves. Consequence: these countries recycled their profits in the US/Europe under the form of loans.

  • Other consequence: as they did not invest their profits on themselves but went circular giving back what they receive to the country they receive from, they grow in wealth less faster than countries like the US or in Europe.

Therefore the wage difference was never to be diminished.

Of course, for Europe and US, this was a very good era, one of easy prosperity since they were granted all the benefits of the system, cheap labour, cheap goods, high wages, easy credit... The consequence is now

  • the wealth distribution on the face of the earth trend is probably defintively determined: the western world will keep building up the world wealth on its territory, difference in wage cant be patched, thus the incentive to outsource will be very strong until a major breakthrough in productivity.

But in the 70s, no outcome was clear, there were several possible outcomes, the one happening now is the result of choice.

  • Maybe the UK can follow the US lead to turn around the economy. Print a whole bunch of money and then throw it down a rat hole.

  • Weird times.

I just got back from a trip to Chicago. Restaurants, streets, malls...full to capacity. No empty storefronts to speak of.

The stock market continues to climb, although there doesn't seem to be a logical reason for it to do so, based on earnings or job reports.

Even as the government attempts to destroy business and individual rights, no one really seems to notice or care.

    Ponderous.

  • hi Mike'

  • Justin Hyde, Detroit Free Press • April 8, 2009 President Barack Obamas auto task force dispatched a team of 15 people to General Motors Corp. headquarters in Detroit today to speed up the turnaround plan. This vanguard led by task force staffer Harry Wilson, a former hedge fund executive, and include experts from the Boston Consulting Group and investment bank Rothschild.

  • Mike,

I absolutely love your videos brother! Do you have any idea why they are "no longer availible on mobile." This is true for all the guys that I watch who report on the economy. Just those... I can watch anything else.... Hmmmm...

    deej

  • You are so freaking interesting.

    Nice hair and 'tash though.

    Crazy.

  • 3 year pay freeze for employees where I work. US

    Thanks for the updates.

  • Yes Mike, the tea parties are scheduled and we are ready to revolt. I just hope some good comes from them. People will probably get out there with signs and words, then they will go back home to watch American Idol or the ball game.

  • Pls read previous posts re this "tax revolt" effort, who and what is behind it.

It is not what you think it is.

    Cheers!

  • 8:12 :-D

  • as regards ireland that what happen when you vote in a bunch of retards to run your country

  • I get the feeling things have become little more than a mad grab for the remaining resources.

  • Good vid Mike,

I also liked the guardian vid from the G20, also just to note, I think the policeman in question was using an ASP not a standard baton. Check out what an ASP is. Never believe someone who says he has nothing up his sleeves.

  • thanks Mike!! Really sad stuff about taxes... yet really the worst affected are always the poor. As the are not able to get out of circle. Taxes - well!! That is to be expected. Switzerland has had good times and now really is sinking. I still believe it will be part of the NWO financial model. all the best

  • Ah the world of science, not what any of us expected eh?

I'm guessing you went into it thinking you were going to change the world in some way. Knuckle down to some exciting new concept.

Then it turns out science is a business with stricter controls over it than the terriorism act.

Good luck with your search train, at least you have a degree, so you have the option of doing anything.

Just out of interest what 'Sc' was it?

Also is it any wonder the Uk won't sign up to the 48hr max week?

  • Why are you moving to Canada? We don't want you here. just kidding. where are you moving to?

  • ..except McDonalds! :-D

  • why do people whatch these videos?

  • Because we actually give a shit.

  • give a shit about what?

  • About what's going on in the world !!

  • yeah instead of making some big video of the news, he could just send you the link for you to read yourselves?

  • Did you bother to look in info box? He ALWAYS provides the links. Nice try tho....

  • yeah then why read out and talk about the news if we can just click the link and read it ourselves?

  • so slow people such as myself can digest the news

  • I think it funny:

"Because we actually give a ....

    -give a .... about what?

-About .... We actually give a .... about the .... that is going to hit the fan soon."

  • it'd help if you typed normaly

  • 2 l's in normally, mate

  • Profanity is forbidden on this channel comment section. And it is not that hard to fill the gap.

  • You have more hair on your lip than I have on my head

  • Correction on Ireland: Ireland has not reformed the debt's prison, it has always been on. So nothing new introduced here. Simply a country sticking to the old ways.

  • I would think the pubs would be the first place that people head to. Alcohol sales usually do well during economic hard tmes.

Thanks for the excellent report and commentary Mike.

  • Yah, the Swiss "Keeper of the Monetary Flame"...that's the torch on my ass, eh?

  • buck naked protests!!! undercover cops are not allowed to get naked

  • Barry Gibb called and he wants his hair-doo back.

  • Max Keiser's website has a link that Ireland has brought back the debtor's prison.

  • Thank for the information. I am going to check that. Wooooo, if it is valid, very, very alarming. People should not forget that debt's prison was the advancement made on debt's slavery. People who are whining about slavery right now might discover in a near future that they were indeed whining.

  • Mike, when is the end of the world. I thought it would be over by now. I thought it was all going to be over last thursday. DOUCHE!!

  • thnx for the post

  • kick ass mike

  • banjojombo9 wats the prediction man

  • Hey mike, I am clicking the ads daily and my all friends so. Enjoy the ad revenue.

Tell me one thing that happen surely in this month of April, economical news

  • I wonder if they include ALL of those boat loads of oil when they release current supply figures. I think not. There is a huge over supply of oil above ground right now. most being held by speculators.

  • Wow Mike, very important video.

    Oil intervention eh?

  • Los Angeles County's sales tax rate is now 9.25%, up from 8.25%. It's worse in other areas.

  • thanks for the update!

  • Hey Mike,

Love the videos, Keep up the good work. Im from Ireland and your right our Mini Budget is a disaster. We have hit hard tome but hey once we have our health were ok, People need to remember that!

    Bless you!

  • I believe we're gonna recover faster here in the USA than Britian.

And I understand that some ppl in Britian rejected the Euro & want to go w/ the USD.

I'd recommend that Britian go with the USD & I'd bet Canada & Australia will come on board as well.

  • I don't know that I agree with you, although it would be nice. But, I would ask, what happens if the commodity exchanges stop using USD for everything, what happens when all that paper repatriates to the US? I hope you are right, but as I hear that on CNBC every week, I am doubtfull.

Peace and happiness to you and yours

  • Hello, where about in Canada are you going, Toronto area?

  • Your delivery has improved greatly. Less of the usual lip smacking and throat clearing, keep working on it and you"ll see your numbers rise. - keep it real bro - you're doing good.

  • So glad to see twitch and mustache eliminated from my news review. Isn't it something how the value of the spoken word we get is something we always try to help improve upon?I know we like it so much that we press for perfection.Otherwise we wouldn't tell him to shave, grow or keep his eyebrows down

Can you imagine if we would just cut him loose and let him spit and smack and not be at all self conscious so he can keep trudging forward? You know what I mean.I know what you mean.

  • Anyway, i cant listen to mike say "good morning, good evening wherever you are " again (with all due respect) so im going to bed.

    Goodnight all.

  • Thank God!

  • here, take this blanket......it must be cold sleeping under that bridge, troll ;) GOODNIGHT!

  • I have slagged mike off tonight, and we've had a bit of a tiff, but notice i am still talking ?

As the fat guy below said, he is a good guy, not a bad guy.

Banning peoel who disagree or criticise is just wrong, especially when peopel talk of freedon of speech like alex jesuit jones does (oops, done it again).

I do rememebr one of hs old vids where he said he was a catholic, but now he says he's not religious.

He hides his motives, you can tell, just by watching some old and new vids.

  • mikeybrumbrum:

At least this fat guy has the intellectual capacity to address your comments and your basless accusations, as opposed to continued school yead insults. By all means, please continue to embarass yourself. Do you really think anyone (with the exception of maybe a couple people) will be entertained by your remedial attempts to take shots at me?

This fat guy is going to call you out every time you decide to act like a complete intellectually dishonest douchebag.

  • mikeybrumbrum:

You have spewed you jism all over poor Mikes video comment section. I mean, for someone with such a big mouth, you really should consider hanging up your trolling ways, and buy yourself a cam and VLOG! After all, this isnt message board tube, its you tube. Talking certainly has to be better then your poor typing skills. Then you can troll your own videos and leave others at peace. Unless you take pride in humping the shit out of other peoples comment sections? pathetic really.

  • No particular Whom. Larry Moe & Curley.

  • I cannot speak for deckchairs1, but...

William Cooper was emphatic on Alex Jones being exactly like that and called him out on it right about the same time he called him a liar.

    Just saying.

I listen to what AJ says.

    Just listening.

  • Yes, and Alex Jones gets away with rather alot.

I used to listen to him,,but then i realised he was trying to get ME to panic, onhis behlaf.

And he IS earnign planty of money and constantly tells peopel he needs them to buy his books and vids to "keep the information coming".

He's done a good job of wakign the people up, but i cant help feeling that he is feathering his own nest, whilst inciting other peole to die for the "cause".

And of yu say "JESUIT" on his channel, he also bans you !!

  • You DO know that TheAlexJonesChannel on YT has nothing to do with Alex Jones? It's run by a guy called Dave who has Alex's permission to use his stuff... but Alex otherwise has nothing to do with the channel, or anything on YT.

So, are u sure you weren't just banned by Dave??????

  • That's astounding. I'm still acclimating myself to the cv terminology and was stabbing in the dark at your 1.2k association. I see my question was thumbed down and there must be moochoe M.E.N.S.A. in here that is very unforgiving. ;^)

    Thank you your response.

    I feel rather redeemed, actually.

My very best wishes to you in finding something substantive and it was nice to see such good encouragement from Mike's real life experience with his father.

  • good job

  • BTW cracked the modem open right away LOL - nothing too untoward! But who knows what might be captured by the chips LOL

  • You know it baby. ;-)

There is no merit and/or basis for ridiculous comments like that.

  • Do we read 1.2k cv as 1200 resumes put out by you for potential employers and headhunters to see?

  • Of course it's ok. Same boat here parental, more hours, less compensation.

People are holding back in reaction to all this. I "live with" my tightening situation & try not to give in to periodic panics.

I appreciate Mike's view which he so generously shares with us revolting peasants. I do not appreciate sloppy hysteria & rumor addicted derailing discourse when so much is at stake, in fact it really pisses me off.

  • ...let's say Saturday, okay...?...PLEASE...?!

...I'm still working on my subscriptions and I'm at N as in NufffRespect...

...afterwards it's..wait......67 videos (awe, man...67 already again...?!), that are waiting for me to be processed...

...you know a function to play videos at double speed...?

    ...'d be reeealy helpful...!!

  • you're lucky.... i've got about 500 "shared with you" videos, and thats just in a few weeks... i'm ignoring them... want to see if the counter resets once it hits 1000 lol

  • *LOL*

Well, then let it be said, that it doesn't reset...

...I once had 1400 videos to look at...that was the time between June and Oktober '08. Everytime the world heats up, I'm flooded with videos.

It's some rather quite times now, compared to those last year...

Mike's videos take at least 30 minutes to one hour to process all the info.

It's always like praying, that the text box wouldn't be that long - and then go bancrupt with your time shares, feeding your info-addiction...!

  • hahahaha..... you've just described that perfectly... i know i'm upping his views beautifully, coz i have to keep rewinding...

"No wait, I'll read this first... no, slow down Mike.... arrrghh.... start again..... pause..... now where was i?..... what did Mike say...... right, start again..."

Lets just say I'm not v organised with the whole reading/listening thing.... get a brain freeze....

... but very worth it!!!! :-)

  • Exactly! Worth staying up till...what...5 a.m. maybe...? ;) I've encountered same problem. My solution: 1st - read the articles in the text box/description/annotations (wth's the right expression anyway?) 2nd - listen to Mike's comment, setting the info into the big picture with an interesting accent. 3rd - verify for yourself through more and lots & lots, huge piles of devastating validations... ...or feel the atmospheric condition, tighten your coat and move on...
  • We always want to hear what ppl are doing - there are few rules here in youtube land!
