I have the screen, and the speakers on it are crap!, and it's 1440*1050 something I'm not a fan of :(

2 applications side by side? That's nothing special - all modern monitors do that, including CRT; its the PC & operating system that does the work there.
Rich stereo sound from the speakers? Crap. All small speakers on monitors have poor bass response. They are always a waste of time. I wish manufacturers would leave them off and trim the cost from the price.

Viewsonic brand is one of the best monitors for gaming, I don't think it sucks.
