unbelievable catch. and yes, gloves help, but that catch can definitely be made without gloves. just playing football in the yard ive made random catches w/ 1 hand that i cant explain and im not a good football player by any means. sometimes the ball just hits the hand the right way, it's all about getting into a good position. sometimes it just sticks.

Gloves help but any 1 handed catch by anyone that smooth is pretty sick. Last time I saw a one handed catch that smooth was Jerry Rice. There have been plenty in the NFL, but that one was pretty smooth in terms of all 1 handed catches.

@eoakland i think the gloves definitely helped, but are you also saying anyone wearing the gloves could've made that catch? i also think it takes some athletic ability like balance, coordination and agility.

Gloves aren't miracle workers. Even with gloves, you've still gotta have perfect timing and position.  That was pure skill by an excellent receiver.

Saying it's all because of the gloves is like saying a soccer player only scores goals because he wears cleats.

You've still gotta have the skill to back up aid of the equipment.
