People argue the cummins can pull the best due to it's high torque from a straight 6, but what they don't understand is that torque only runs so far, with a straight 6 you have no top end power, unless its has aftermarket bolt-ons, and such.
a real competition would be hauling weight, not testing tire traction. but then the chevy would lose so that's why they have this to help them sleep at night hahaha

@lrieder1 Dude you have got to research your shit a little better, because Chrysler/Dodge were the first American automakers to build their own diesel trucks back in the 1940's way before Chevy or Ford., As a matter or a fact Dodge and Mack were the only two truck makers back in the 1940's to offer their own diesel engines, not to metion that Dodge Power wagons were the first 4x4 pick up trucks dating back to the late 1930's.

you pretty much need weight in the back for a good tug of war. in both trucks otherwise a tug of war is on a competition for the tires. u can have all the torque in the world but if you start spinnin first than you lost its that simple. but way to go chevy!!!! most dependable longest lasting trucks on the road. yo chevy guys.. look up on u tube, 90's chevrolet trucks commercials

there all duallys, if yall cant see it your blind. and between a good v8 diesel and one hell of a transmission in the chevy ( allision) is one of the reasons you see what you do, look up the trannys they prevent wheel spin under load. as semis and dumps are now being equipped with them.
