He move Arceus used was Judgement, a base 100 power move that changes its type (normally typed Normal) to whatever plate is being held. So Mewtwo's Aura Sphere was 90 x 2 for Super Effective = 180 power. The Judgement from Arceus was 100 x 1.5 for Same-Type Attack Bonus = 150.
BUT if Arcues was holding, say, the ghost, bug, or dark plates, then it would instead be 100 x 1.5 x 2 x 1.2 (plate) = 360.
the only reason arceus lost so bad was because you had him hold the fire plate, had he been holding the dark or ghost plate, or even the dragon or psychic plate it would have turned out a lot differently.
My Mewtwo has koed many Arceus with Focus BlastI calm mind and recover still makes Mewtwo the best very difficult to counter and he always got a ton of tricks up his sleeve.

Victory or Defeat depends on how experient you are, on how experient your opponent is, on which moveset both are using, on the synergy between your pokemons, etc, etc... Most of the pokemon disapointed me (some rip offs from previous generations, which I loved, and some just plain retarded, like Vanillice and Klink and thier evolutions). @TheCrippledCrow As much as I am enjoying White Version right now, I have to admit, Vanillice and its evolutions disapointed me. Most of the pokemon disapointed me (some rip offs from previous generations, which I loved, and some just plain retarded, like Vanillice and Klink and thier evolutions). But the story is fun and new, with cool twists, and there are a couple of awesome pokemon and a good amount of decent ones that I wouldn't be caught dead with.

Goku killed a being beyond a God named Buu... so yeah no such thing as an unstopable God. and If Arceus uses a Spooky plate Mewtwo has variety of moves that are Effective against each plate. Also Judgemnet has nothing on Mewtwo due to the fact that Arceus didn't create him. He only know's Psychic type moves. Arceus can just use either Dark or Ghost type moves and just destroy this female looking pink thing.

Fire Blast beats bug type Arceus, Shadow Ball beats Ghost Arceus, Aura Sphere kills Normal, Dark, Steel, Ice, and rock Arceus. so yeah Mewtwo doesn't really know only Psychic moves he learns a lot. also Me first can steal any move that Arceus will pull out and even stronger.. so yeah at the End Mewtwo will win but not easy.

@Osolagolpe No Sinnoh isn't strongest, compare it Staraptor vs pigiot 1st gen wins. The only reason people thing Sinnoh is stronger is because of how many Pokemon evolve 3 times. Plus the amounts of legendarys in it. In all Kanto (Said by the very creator of Pokemon himself on a broadcasted Pokemon convic in Tokyo.) houses the strongest Pokemon made out of all the regions the only ones that rival are jhoto and hoen.

However if you're reffering to base stats only than that title goes to Swampert. I have to admit though Gen 5 starters were disappointing (though not as much as gen 2) that is until Serperior gets its dream world ablity.

In the first generation, Mew was already said to be the ancestor of all and contain DNA of EVERY pokemon, including Arceus and he can transform into him too. Closed and mew is a winner.

@Eyeolus Mewtwo can know fire blast, 1 hit kill with a genosect. And focus blast, takes care of dark/steel type. Ice beam, Giratinas done for. thunder on kyogre kills it. Mewtwo also can know Me First. Means he can also use Roar of time. Mewtwo can beat Arceus, since he has a very wide move set, to match Arceus' plates.

Giratina is what? Mewtwo can't come close to OHKOing it with anything, while Giratina-O can wipe it out with a single Shadow Ball, or Draco Meteor it first/Follow up with a Shadow Sneak. Don't get me started on standard Giratina as well.
Thunder doesn't "kill kyogre" it still survives it and gets a guaranteed OHKO with Surf...
