@jensbond93 I didn't explain me well. This isnt the typical funky song. This is more pausate and deliberate. He only plays at the end of the pattern. Seems more like a rap instrumental that a funk instrumental.

You can't really separate the vocals off the mixdown. That's why some frequencies sound so lame, and the chorus includes some of the vocals.

The only way is to get the original tracks and mix them without the vocals, or get an instrumental version somehow (if exists)
