Hey morons there is a specific reason it is called the dream-cast era. Sonic has advanced past his younger years but and looks different but still has all his old skills for example the sonic spin witch is absent in the current era. Now we just have an extra speed dash.He also had an old voice actor in thoes games. Its things like that that make it the dream cast era.

Ok for everybody saying "But but... Sonic Heroes wasn't on the Dreamcast" just listen. The Dreamcast is apart of the sixth console generation which lasts between 1998 to 2005. Hence if the console didn't get decimated it would had lasted til 2005. Sonic Heroes was made in 2003 so it is apart of that era. What else could they have called it?

Everyone, The Reason Sonic Heroes is part of the Dreamcast Era is because it part of the same Generations as Dreamcast was. It would have been nice however if they did include an additional level to make Seaside Hill a part of the Modern Era instead.

@AkihabaraDenNohGumi No because I actually do read sources and check things out, The Adventure series was on Dreamcast then Gamecube which was part of the same generation as Dreamcast answers why Heroes is part of the Dreamcast Era. Dreamcast part of the same Generations as Gamecube like how the PS3 is the same Generations as the Xbox 360.
