I must say "The Dwarves" series by Markus Heitz is probably my favourite series so far. Its still in the making and the 3rd of 4 books is supposed to come out this year.

I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who knows how to read, it is extremely well written with more characters than i can remember.

If you had asked this earlier, I would have said: The Rainmaker, by John Grisham without a doubt. However after just reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and started the sequal called: Catching Fire, I must say that those are equally amazing as The Rainmaker.

There is also a third book in The Hunger Games trilogy called: Mockingjay, which I cannot wait untill I get my hands on.

I highly suggest all four of those.

so far the books that had the most effect on me (as in I completely zoned out of Life itself to read them, and was completely helpless to avoid it until the I finished the damn book) were Lord of the Rings and Stephen King's It.

I love reading, and I like a LOT of different books, but those two are the ones that just grabbed me by the balls and just would not let go.

Nilesy you should use skinning as your secondary profession, you get a bonus to crit, and you dont need to search for nodes, just need to remember to skin any animal mobs you kill.

No you won't break the linearness of the quest chain if you use the hero's call board to change zones, thats what they are there for :D

My favorite book of all time is The Lord of the Rings. I kinda group The Hobbit in with that I guess. I also really love all of Jules Verne's books with The Journey to the Center of the Earth being my favorite. It always seemed like it had a dark serious tone to it, but the movies never seem to do that any justice. Especially the modern remake of it... that sucked... I've also liked The Sword of Shanarra but didn't like the elfstones... I liked Ender's Game... Redwall was pretty good...
