Troy Brown has had an amazing career with loads of memorable plays, but my favorite has to be when he intercepted a pass from Drew Bledsoe. Back in say 2000 did you ever think you would he Troy Brown intercept a Bledsoe pass? Man that was classic highlight reel material.
no doubt in my mind does he belong in Canton but being an underrated player i can see him not being in. Regardless of what anyone might say, brown was integral to 3 superbowls and helped shape the patriots dynasty not just with offense, but with defense. One of the most clutch and versatile players to ever strap on the pads. I was there when he set the pats all time recieving record and when they honored him on thursday night football, He's a class act and a hall of famer for sure.
Not a Patriots fan, however If I ever met Troy Brown I would buy him a beer without a doubt. What a true gamer and to play in the secondary in 2004 was pretty impressive as well.
Not many players in the Hall of Fame like that did EVERYTHING for their team. He deserves to be in, can you imagine how much of an influence it would have on the stars of tomorrow? It'll raise the bar even more, which makes football more intense, making games much more enjoyable to watch.
Behind Brown, I'd say Faulk is Mr. Everything. Bellichick loves versatility doesn't he? haha
Troy is the best!!! A true class act through and through - thanks for all the memories and wins Troy!!!! We love ya #80 from your Foxboro friends!!! "Downtown Troy Brown"
Didn't Troy also through a touchdown pass to David Patton one year on a flea flicker type play? I know something like that happened in the early '00s but it could have been someone else who threw to Troy.
They could replace the flying Elvis emblem on the helmet with a picture of Troy Brown and it would be the same to me. TEAM player!! I missed him last year and wish he could have participated in the 16 - 0 season. Who knows. Maybe he coulda made the interception that Samuels should have.
troy was awesome, he could have played with the guys back in the 40's and 50's. when people played on both sides of the ball and special teams. go marshall
You're an ass. Too bad whatever team you support doesn't have a 15-year player that played three sides of the ball and would rather retire than put on another uniform, especially the green and white one that just offered him a position.
Congratulations on a great career #80 - you are a true Patriot and the fans will never forget what you did for the team nor how you played. Thanks for all of the great memories.
God Bless Troy Mofo Brown. Receiver, blocker, safety, corner. SEE THAT TURNOVER VS THE CHARGERS IN THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR. HUGE! One hell of a football player. So happy he is back.
Troy Brown is AWESOME!!! i Miss seeing him Smile!!! BINGO!!! WE GOT BINGO BABY!!! What a GREAT athelete and what a GREAT person!!! Hope he comes back soon!!!
Troy Brown is one of most heroic and reliable players in Patriot history. I love Troy's game. Simply one of the most intelligent players on the field.
TB is one of the greatest football players of all time. I'm so thankful he is a patriot. He is the epitome of what ALl players and people for that matter should aspire to be. I was privileged to be at the game last year at home against the dolt clots when he received the record for the most number of receptions for the pats.
troy brown is my favorite player since i was born ive watched football breathed football nothing more than football im one of the best players in my town, everyone says ill be a hiesman winner in college, and u all will see me in the nfl number 80 for the patriots in 8 years
my uncle went to school with troy at blackville hilda

One of the most versatile players of all time. He was a good and consistent reciever, he could play cornerback and was a great punt returner.

He's what a football player should be.... Offense, special teams, Defense, only punting & kicking were the only he wasn't asked to do.
Is he a Hall-of-Famer? Maybe. PATRIOT Hall-of-Timer; Locked-in ;)
