@itsnotfunnyHAHA that's called advancement. They replace the vehicles because the newer ones are more economical(what is a little funny since they like the petrol eater cars :D ).
These russian things still have more sensitive dc motors, cant recharge braking energy to grid, just "burn" it on resistors. So these have much more service costs than the newer ones.

The NYCSS olny PLANTS to do the One Person Train Operation & Communication-Based Train Controll (OPTO & CBTC), in Budapest, it operates still '72. And, you known, the NYC Subway's entrances are made after the MFAV (Kisföldalatti) 's entrances? You aren't? No problem.
i live in germany but my father is hungarien and when i see this here im happy cause when i was a little child i was often in hungary and also in the budapestian subway...a old loud metro...but i like it
