I play a WL and I have to say that even though they do low dmg (R13/13 atm) per hit, with Coordinated strike, Lion on the same target, 2 Dots and Centuries of Training/Jagged Edge tactic, the damage racks up pretty fast. Yesterday I topped KBs with 2nd highest Damage done in SCs on an average of 14 KBs with 45-53k damage (A few +15 Str gems but majority of +7-12's with Decimator set and greens/Nordland & Emblem blues) The WL's burst is just insane, and I'm loving it!

Guardian spec is the best RvR , hunter spec is the best farming spec, but axeman does the best dps if u dont use ur WL.

its a mdps class with the lion by your side. then u can choose path either to make you stronger or your lion stronger or equally strong.

lions were instant summon and stayed summoned when you were mounted, how it should still be!

They stay spawned whn you mount now sadly.

Can you tell me exactly how you insta-summoned your pet after being mounted? That's impossible in the current game. Was this during Beta? Are you using a macro? Really - I'd love to know.

Yeah this is shit, you have a freaking WP healing your ass and your DPS is utter shit. Try this, axe mastery with cull the weak, thin the herd and primal fury, rest into the other path with pounce. Tactics go loner, flanking, brute force, and tearing blade. You'll then understand owning when you down a zealot in 7 secs. Thin the herd, 2 sundering chops, cull teh weak and 2 auto attacks inbetween, if 2 of those crits espically cull the weak, its GG to anything shy of medium armor.

This career is going to be killer. It's supposed to be balanced with the Marauder, but I think the White Lion has a real psychological advantage in that it has a pet. Running away (quickly, I should add, thanks to Charge) while your pet continues to attack your target will cause some people's heads to spin. Looking forward to it.

Did your lion just up and leave half way thru the battle? I've heard there were pathing issues, but that's more than just pathing, that's, well, a leaving battle issue.

It's easy to see you play(ed) a lot of WoW. White Lion being my main, I would suggest doing less circling and more STAYING behind or to the side of your enemy. You're gimping yourself by doing full circles when they're not even turning and are focusing on your pet. Moves like Sundering Chop are a waste of AP if you keep circling around in front of them.

Sundering Chop, Primal Fury, Blindside, more then enough not to run around and waste AP :)

Also pets are being fixed as of the end of Preview Weekend, and has been stated by Mythic they are aware of it. Should be fixed 'n ready for Open Beta in the coming weeks. :)
