@FartKnocker273 this may not be true, but i believe alucard always bring his coffin with him wherever he goes (you can spot his coffin in ova 3 in his hotel room). in Hellsing The Dawn, alucard's coffin is actually sentient and he even rides on it. the ship is the ship alucard crash-landed in ova 4, and i believe his coffin was on the jet as he crashed. the coffin is probably linked to alucard, and his "undead army" are stored in it. when alucard is at level 0, it opens up to release the army.

@fbiuzz well originally it was that a vampire could inject their own blood through one fang into the bite victim, while sucking the victim blood with the other. the condition of it being a virgin is also common, though im unsure if it was an original condition of the myth or one simply added on later, although it certainly seem plausible. but the reason they have this is because they are unable to reproduce by normal means as vampirism was supposedly supposed to turn its victims sterile.

@fbiuzz according to legend yes, vampirism is a supernatural disease. however keep in mind that hellsing doesnt exactly go by the conventional legend of vampires. In hellsing the turning is instant rather than a slow process, drinking someones blood allows you to absorb their soul, and holy relics can transform you into monsters. it doesnt matter how much blood a vampire drinks, a vampires power increase with age and practice with the skills of their particular clan.
if i saw this i would be like " OOOOHH SHIIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!! Dracula has literally millions of souls trapped within him. Every one of them is released when Control Level 0 is activated. So, what happens can best be described quite simply as...all Hell breaking loose, literally.
The one weakness to this Level, the only downside to it, is that if Alucard/Dracul were destroyed and his body eradicated beyond regeneration - he would die permanently.
No souls in his body means he would be killed off - forever. The difficulty to do so is...substantial.

D. for example was born from... the vampire king i think it was... not sure its been a while since i saw anything involving D. but i believe that was his father. Alucard from the castlevania games is much the same in that he can over power pure bloods because his father is Dracula

(Hellsing) and if you hold a mirror to "alucard" you'll get "dracula" so its kinda a round about convorsation LOL trust me.... it has no end. me and five other people are still trying to break down what a fight between D and Alucard would turn out as XD

As for a fight between the two, D is not pushover and if his power was fully released theres no doubt that he could take a good number of alucards lives but enough lives to literally flood london... i think he wouldnt be able to take alucard down that many times.

@SasukeTheCursed not true the name first appeared in the 1940s film Son of Dracula and the Castlevinia Alucard was Dracula's dhampir son. But ever since then there have been plenty of stories of Dracula using the name himself. As either an allies or (in the case of Hellsing) as a new name. Anyway Alucard is the most powerful version of Dracula there has ever been. D is Dracula's Half-Human/Half-Vampire son. Dhampirs are always weaker then their vampire parent. So D's screwed

@SasukeTheCursed I know the whole a "vampire-via-bite" thing! I never heard a myth stating they are sterile (or at least i never actually read any myths stating it). I recall from reading Bram Stoker's Dracula(not sure if my memory serves correct) which this series is base on, that you had to do more than just bite a virgin? I mean it took several days to turn Lucy into one and i read that Mina had to be bitten and feed on dracula's blood! Correct me if i'm wrong

@fbiuzz well originally it was that a vampire could inject their own blood through one fang into the bite victim, while sucking the victim blood with the other. the condition of it being a virgin is also common, though im unsure if it was an original condition of the myth or one simply added on later, although it certainly seem plausible. but the reason they have this is because they are unable to reproduce by normal means as vampirism was supposedly supposed to turn its victims sterile.

@fbiuzz well not exactly, the reason it took her several days is because vampirism is the second stage of a disease. the first stage is called Sanguinare Vampiris, or sometimes Porphyric Hemophilia. Its after several days this disease turns into vampirism. the switch is supposed to be accompanied by horrific nightmares and of course a great thirst for blood.

@fbiuzz according to legend yes, vampirism is a supernatural disease. however keep in mind that hellsing doesnt exactly go by the conventional legend of vampires. In hellsing the turning is instant rather than a slow process, drinking someones blood allows you to absorb their soul, and holy relics can transform you into monsters. it doesnt matter how much blood a vampire drinks, a vampires power increase with age and practice with the skills of their particular clan.

Dracula has literally millions of souls trapped within him. Every one of them is released when Control Level 0 is activated. So, what happens can best be described quite simply as...all Hell breaking loose, literally.
The one weakness to this Level, the only downside to it, is that if Alucard/Dracul were destroyed and his body eradicated beyond regeneration - he would die permanently.
No souls in his body means he would be killed off - forever. The difficulty to do so is...substantial.
