Ahhh this brings back memories. I remember we use to make up nicknames for the enemies. Like the big black guys in Double Dragon 1 and in 2 we called him Boo Boo 4:28. Terminator at 5:58 The bald shirtless guys on Double Dragon 3 were named Smooth Dick. We used to do Chin`s head first jump dive into our beds and when we farted would do his jumping double kick and say ``Chin``. We never actually ever beat any of them but would play like every day. I enjoyed watching every second of these videos.

wasn't the story of double dragon II one of the black warrior/shadow warrior chicks (lash). learned healing arts from an old man; she used them years later to resurrect most if not all of the fallen members of the group who were killed by the Lee brothers. including Wily died at the end of Double Dragon 1. Wily then wanting revenge, took it out on Marian by killing her after reforming the group. that's what I recall anyways. but the chick with the healing arts was never featured in the game.

This game was one of the few games, out of 30+, that I actually beat. It was pretty easy. Even so, the replay value was great. If I remember correctly, you could beat the crap out of your teammate. That was fun. Not as much fun as whipping them in the face with the controller.

I don't know if you guys knew about a special knee move he used to do. I'm not talking about the jumping knee where the bad guy goes flying. He does a knee in the balls just as any bad bad guy is about to stand up.

@neogeo79 I remember when I first found out about that move, I was obsessed with doing it. Especially on the fourth level with the low ceilings. The sound of the knee 'BLAT' and then the uppercut 'BLAT' and then they hit their head on the ceiling and bounce back to the ground hella fast so the whole sequence would just sound like BLAT..BLAT..DUDUT (sound of them hitting the ground lol).

I was jus playin' this yesterday! I decided to park myself on the couch and have an Nes marathon since it's way too hot to anything else. TMNT 2, Double Dragon 2, Shatterhand, Duck Tales and a few others. Takes me back to the good 'ol days when I was a horny teenager! These games never get old and never stop bein' fun to play! Of course now I have a cute fiancee to bring me beer and nachos while I play. PS3 is great and all, but companies have gotten away from what made gamin' fun.

Double Dragon 2, to my opinion the best one.

This is a great game except for the platforming bits. What a terrible design decision that was. Why include them in a game with awkward jumping like this one, especially when you have to hit TWO buttons just to jump?

Such a great game otherwise, those bits stick out like a sore thumb.
