Grew up with him...genuinely good and hardworking kid. One of those few individuals who you meet in life who deserve everything (if not more) that he has achieved.
Yeah me too, I only been watching NFL for season now and I can't see what all the fuss is about Addai. If it wasn't for Peyton the colts would have been in hell last season.
donald brown is an INDIANAPOLIS COLT!!!! congrats mate!! you're going to the classiest organization in the NFL and perhaps in all of sports. we're proud to have you!
I'm thinking he will be an Eagles too if Moreno is not there. I really don't want Wells with us because Andy like to have versatile players just like Bwest is for RB position. Like I said if we don't get Moreno tomorrow then go with Brown before somebody else picks him up. I like this kid.
(con't) I question whether he could do that, because things came a little too easy for him at his school. I question whether he has the blend of vision and speed it takes to start at one end, find a hole on the other end, hit it quick, and take it the distance at the next level. Scouts are probably wondering the same, especially now after seeing him clock-in a 4.51.
... he was much faster out of high school, he ran a 4.16 twice at a high school camp hand timed. And he has always been able to improvise to get yards. Watching him live for his whole career i saw him on runs up the middle bounce outside when the mddle wasnt there, then cut back inside for a medium gain. He has a very powerful lower body, squats over 600 lb, and 4.51 was like 5th so I would call that to bad.
I would be surprised if three RBs get drafted in the first round, and I would be shocked if it were to happen and Brown is one of them. I'm sure he is a bright kid who will stay out of trouble as a pro, but UConn's OC and system won't be following him to the NFL. He won't see the kind of playcalls and opened holes he was used to seeing while lining up in the backfield at his school as a pro. He'll have to be more patient and occasionally improvise to get his yards...
