I would rather shoot myself in the face than put any AMD product into a tower I was building for anyone. If AMD is so great I am sure a company such as EVGA would support them... but nope. You also find that there is 20% more Nvidia than AMD users .. Nvidia has more than half market share (according to the steam community survey).

So.. I think I don't need to say much more. My personal experience with AMD's cards is enough to never use them again.

I'm waiting for nvidia to fix the cuda problems in 600s so I can possibbly upgrade my pos gtx 580 3gb don't get me wrong they are good gaming cards but not video editing...

Anyone that uses that stock cooler on this is crazy. It looks useless. No point in having this CPU if your not gona run a high end cooler or water cool it. I got the Noctua NHD-14 on mine, works great.

Why does this cost 1,050 and a 2600K cost 330 and it is so much better. I noticed the TDP of a 975 is 45nm 130W whereas the 2600K is a 32nm at 95W. Which one can reach higher clock speeds overclocked? I would say the 2600K. Am I right? It seems like nothing more than a big hoax.

But a computer with a really high end graphics card and processor (and ram) is actually not *neccecary* to run the absolutly latest games like you say, crysis for example. I have a AMD Althon 64 X2 dual core 2,8 ghz processor with Ati Radeon 5670,and I play COD MW2 with absolutly no lag at all at full graphics.So like you're saying, different games requires different hardware. But i7 is just too much!
