yeah man, this song is about change...it's about contemplating life and how things ought to be...rather than how things are. I just heard this song for the first time this morning, and I'm going through the exact same thing...He starts off glancing at nature, and it compels him to think..the chorus is inspirational but it could be sarcasm...talking about how we are all wasting away in our stupidity, but yet we are living, breathing, smiling, moving along.
