@GunFreak271 : Thanks ! Well, the first thing to look for is the new Boxster ( 981 ) or 911 (991 ) . I'm not sure if I will review the Cayman until the new version will be available next year, eventhough I wanted to review one for a long time actually...I will keep it in mind, okay ? :)
I really think manuals is a better choice for porsche but I have the PDK just in case someone that doesn't know how to drive manual or not very gd with manual could still enjoy the car.
@TheMusicandlyricz : I can totally understand your choice. I personally think the PDK should feel more responsive, like the DSG from VW does for example...Also it shifts too fast up into 7th gear for me...I heard that the changes for the new 991 make a big difference and I really wanna check the new 911 out and review it later this year !...Thanks for your awesome comments, buddy ! I appreciate it very much !
I had a 08 TT and the double clutch from Audi doesn't seem very responsive like the PDK and the gear change is not as smooth as the PDK. I think they're 2 different transmission if I'm correct. I'm really looking forward with the 991 personally I think it will be a better car for cuising but a bit less sporty with the new electrical steering wheel. Anyways I'll look forward to your reviews with the 991 or the 981. Keep it up!!
@ TheGetawayer. Curiously, I lean towards a Porsche Carrera 4 with PDK, but the R8 I'd like with a manual transmission having read so many negative reports on the Rtronic. I'd be interested to know what your experience of the Audi automatic is and do you have a video on it I can watch ? Thanks :-))
@lefeudebout : I often get questions like this and my advice is always the same : Take a Test Drive at a dealership and try yourself...I haven't had the chance to drive an Audi R8, but as a Porsche-fan I know that a 911 Carrera S is faster from 0-100, has better fuel consumption etc...Why don't you consider checking out a 911 with manual transmission ? They are just great to shift, from what I experienced in the Carrera 4 Cabriolet and Boxster S ! I don't really like the PDK. Cheers !
An honest and informative video by a man who is obviously an enthusiast. However, sounds weird to hear a German call the car a " Porsh " English / American style..and not a Porsche..as it ought to be. Presently I am wavering between an Audi R8 and a Porsche Carrera 4... Audi is available now but the Porsche.. who knows when? :-((
@lefeudebout : Thanks for your comment ! I know exactly what you mean about the accent, can't really change it, but if my messages comes clear at the end, I'm fine with it anyway. Let me know what you choose, alright ?
@frizzanteable : There can't be better feedback for me reviews than from somebody that actually owns the car I reviewed. So thanks a lot for your comment !
@TheGetawayer My car is manual. I like the feeling of direct contact with the car that manual transmission provides. The car just feels so alive and responsive to everything the driver wants to do.
I don't think I'll ever sell this car. It is great as an everyday car and is also a real sports car. This versatility is unique amongst top sports cars. The Porsche 911 is a true masterpiece in my opinion.
@frizzanteable : I really prefer the manuals for the same reasons. So glad I found somebody liking this video who is able to back my opinion about the PDK and this car.
@daredevil7442 : First off: Whatever 911 you buy, you cannot go wrong with it ! I recommend the standard 911, because the difference between a Carrera and a Carrera S is not really that big. Take a look at my other two 911-reviews for considerration that feature a 911 Carrera Coupe with PDK and a Carrera 4 Cabriolet with a manual gearbox and let me know what you think
I had a chance to test drive a Carrera S Cabriolet. It was heaven! lol
I sat in one before at the Chicago Auto Show, and I was surprised and impressed at the great legroom of the car. That is amazing to me(and I see you are around 6'3"-4") and I'm a little over 6' so that made me fall even deeper in love with the car!
Every car lover should experience driving a 911 at least once in their life. It was very painful having to give the salesman back the key after the short test drive!!
Marina, I know you like BMW's but after watching this video consider "taking the ride" with Porsche. We can set you up with a Porsche in Germany. Wouldn't that be a cool video. You can wear the Nike Porsche shoes too. Hoon has a German derivation too.
That Porsche flat six sound when You put Your foot down - just SOOO EPIC!!! :O
I don't like how the paddle shifters look on the steering wheel - I prefer standard design (shifters behind steering wheel). But after all - who am I to judge 911? ;)
Porsche 911 - best car in the world? I think I agree with that (as a BMW fan myself).
I totally agree with you about the chrono watch, looks like an after thought ! The good thing about Porsche is that everything about the car is optional. And about what to choose, the manual or the PDK, you have to realize , here in US, the preference choice is the automatic ( in US the people like to buy cars with automatic transmission rather than standard ) !! The only thing that annoying me is the very unconventional paddle shifter ! Very good review ! (●̮̮̃●̃)۶
@boricuas4669 : I was glad to get the S-version this time and I know americans like automatics. It's hard to find anything wrong about such a perfect car. Thanks for your comment !
You have just gotten yourself a new subscriber. When do you think you'll be reviewing a Cayman? ;)

Excellent review. I own a Carrera 4s manual with no chrono watch. I think it is the perfect car; except perhaps a GT3.
I am very pleased to hear that the handling of the wide-body is better than the normal 911.

I found a GT-3 with 50k for about $51,000 US, near San Francisco! Mileage really drives the price down.

lol epic is right..but it's not flat 6 it's horizontal 6 =)
flat 6s are usually on BMWs
cheers.

@highlyporsche : according to wikipedia it is either called flat 6 or horizontal 6. BMW engines are inline-sixes.
