I agree Wangler. The majority of the Ellards are borderline retarded. Mine was a little slow, but he was earnest, sincere, and progressed in intelligence as the show progressed. A little Gomer Pile, a little Jethro Bodine. It got way more laughs than the majority of the Ellards i've seen on YouTube. This guy, no offense if you read this bud, just doesn't have that comedic timing.
Don't watch videos of Ellard to get your idea. Simply create your own Ellard. Alot of Ellards act like big guffoons whereas I just played it as a goofball, it all depeneds on your OWN interpretation, don't let others influence you, it'll be much more rich and unique.
I got this role. I'm trying to be as country as possible with it.

Although, if I'm allowed to critique some things...
This play is much funnier when performer straight-forward. Not as caricatures of your character.
Great job though! I just finised this play also as Ellard. I hope you had a lot of fun doing it, I know I did!
