U.S. politicians pretend to care about human rights and freedom around the world, but what they really want is to create opportunities for corporations to move in and take over. They sure don't care about human rights violations here at home. Millions of people are incarcerated in private prisons. Millions of people are homeless. Millions of people don't have access to health care. Peaceful Occupy protesters are being beaten by police, and arrested. We need human rights monitors here.
