this procedure is not sterile anymore!you touch the bed after wearing gloves....

actually the drapery and bed sheets were already sterile. the pt was brought in the aseptic room. also the key point is not to touch the needle tip that goes in the nick. yes finally i would say its basically an idea abt the procedure. dont consider it a perfect guideline.
