JCVD just turned 49 a couple of weeks ago and he still looks great and he is in great shape.he can kick butts of guys half his age.Norris is good,Van Damme better...

I've actually competed in MMA fights, and NO pure martial artist has ever put up a fight. in fact, 10 years ago, you had plenty of "purists" who stepped into the ring and got their butts handed to them.
Machita is not a pure anything. He has a blackbelt in karate and BJJ. The Gracies, while they had black belts in BJJ, were, for the most part, MMA fighters (look at Renzo Gracie). Royce also studied kickboxing, although he wasn't great at it. I can go on and on. Your comment about Fedor is not correct either. He's a Muay Thai and Sambo practitioner. He also has a black belt in BJJ and competes in a world class level at Judo.

I also bellieve that if the fight went to the ground, it would be a short fight and Norris would win. they are both about same size, Norris 5-10 about 165, JCVD maybe an inch shorter, but I am not sure about that

Too bad Seagal is pretty fat and just turned wierder throughout the years. I'm sure JCVD was and still is in better shape than Seagal, but they are just movie actors that know martial arts. They can pretty much beat up any Joe Shmow on the street, but in a real ring, or against a seasoned fighter like Chuck Zito they would hit the floor pretty hard.

I was in Kung Fu for over 6 years and competed as a teenager, and will admit that although I won some trophies I could never go head to head with these guys in mma fighting. JCVD said in an interview on YouTube that he called out Steven Seagal and Steven refused to fight him.

Van Dam was challenged by Don the Dragon Wilson.. Don was I think a 11xs World Kick boxing champion.. Van Dame was talking shit that he was a karate Champion somewhere, and Don Challenged him.. Van Dame just ignored it and kept making Crappy Movies.. I did like he's early movies, and now there just crap movies he's making.. I'm not a fan of Van Dam by any means, but he was a European full contact Karate champion. He definitely knows his Karate, although I don't think it means much in the world of MMA. I'm not saying he could compete with these guys, but he wasn't a total chump.

Dude theres lot's of pure martial artists who could bang with MMA fighters. If you've spent some years training in something you would probably understand better. If you have a good teacher who knows how to flat out "fight" he or she will teach you the tricks of the trade.

Okay, then why do pure martial artists always lose? There is not one pure martial artist who has ever succeeded in MMA, and for good reason. By the way, stop it with the stupid "if you've spent years training" crap. I've done boxing, MMA, and BJJ for about 10 years. I've actually competed in MMA fights, and NO pure martial artist has ever put up a fight. in fact, 10 years ago, you had plenty of "purists" who stepped into the ring and got their butts handed to them.

Machita is not a pure anything. He has a blackbelt in karate and BJJ. The Gracies, while they had black belts in BJJ, were, for the most part, MMA fighters (look at Renzo Gracie). Royce also studied kickboxing, although he wasn't great at it. I can go on and on. Your comment about Fedor is not correct either. He's a Muay Thai and Sambo practitioner. He also has a black belt in BJJ and competes in a world class level at Judo.
