I have a quick question! I just bought the original today, really excited to use it after seeing your video, but I also use a treatment for my skin from Lancome for the past few months, and its really helping my skin. It contains the washer, the toner, and the moisturizer for hydration. I have really oily skin. Do I use this AFTER I do my regular routine? Also, am i supposed to put this on before my makeup?

@LolliManley I've heard in other videos that the brand isn't a big deal as long as it is "original" with no flavoring and contains no sugar because the sugar will make you break out. Hope that helps!

so does this milk of mag shrink pore size or does it keep the pore size the same and just act as a absorber or the oil? the only way to really stop oily skin it to shrink the pores, my pores are so big i can literally see the oil ooze out of each pore, within 30-45 mins of washing my face, my face is so oily you can fry an egg on it.. damn hormones.

Have you tried drinking spearmint tea? I have/had SUPER oily skin and this has helped immensely. If I drink a small cup before going to bed, the following couple days my skin is normal. Love it.

@IreneJalenti I think you can apply the SPF before or after putting the milk of magnesia on. Sometimes I use stuff on top of the Milk of Magnesia and it keeps working just fine at controlling oil!

I have an oily skin... Usually after lunch, my face get oily in T-Zone.... I use moisturizer ( loreal hydra energetic turbo booster ) . I just bought Phllips original but i havent used yet. So i want to know do i need to use my moisturizer before or after applying this MOM.
i bought a generic brand at the dollar store and it works great. it has 2-3 times more than that bottle in the video and it was only a dollar. been using it since january with no problems.
Milk of Magnesia is also a great facial mask too...place a very thin coating on the face, let dry, then rinse with lukewarm water. It's great to treat a pimple and spot breakouts. It must be the original, mint can irritate skin. This is an old school (I mean early 20th century, late 19th century) remedy before there were commercially prepared beauty products.
Thanks for mentioning this tip. I have oily skin and this could help me a lot. It is better than always having to remember to have a pack of oil blotting sheets on me.
Hey, the mint version has peppermint oil in so you may start to get problems with it as the weather gets hotter. The original has much less ingredients, that's the one you need.

It must be the original, mint can irritate skin. This is an old school (I mean early 20th century, late 19th century) remedy before there were commercially prepared beauty products.

Thanks for mentioning this tip. I have oily skin and this could help me a lot. It is better than always having to remember to have a pack of oil blotting sheets on me.

i have the mint flavoured one as that was the only one avaliable ,it fine it has broken me out.

Hey, the mint version has peppermint oil in so you may start to get problems with it as the weather gets hotter. The original has much less ingredients, that's the one you need.

I am really really excited to go out and buy some today and try this out. This is a wierd question, but I am worried about a funky taste on the face. Do you think that a significant other might find this gross if they kissed you on the face? or have you noticed any scent?

@fknnameiwantistaken hey lovely, it does not have a scent at all, i even used it under my foundations and they don't have a scent too... So its good... it really helps me
