I don't know how they are now, but this is from 2008 using FW 1.1.4. Emulation has progressed by now and it should be faster.

It doesn't really have the right hardware tbh. The PS1 has a different kind of CPU that is designed for it's code, but the iphone's one has trouble with it.

for everyone that says this emulator sucks go fuck yourself, medal of honor runs at 30.97 frames per second thats pretty damn good considering the ipod touch wasnt designed to play fuckin psx games

That's all frameskipping. If it was a consistent 30 fps, you wouldn't have to wait 2+ seconds for your character to move.

A WinMob device such as Axim X51v can run this at 15-20FPS, and at wait for it... FULL SCREEN. X51v is a last gen model. I thought iPhone would be running this at full speed. Oh well.
