Kids can't do the mistica properly, they just make one turn and fall, it's never complete. Besides, Sin Cara (Mistico) has to do the mistica with the other luchador/wrestler cooperating, just look the way he gets grabbed by the other guy here, it gets botched if the other wrestler can't hold him propperly. It's a kind of fantasy move, and as you all know everything is coreographed. So stop saying he is slopy, it's both wrestlers in the best case scenario, because he plays it well.

@Kurios4Life08 Nearly all lucha-style moves are dependant on the recipient performing them correctly. As you can see here, sin cara knows perfectly well what he's doing, its just that the WWE talent are almost entirely spot monkeys (note the word 'almost') when it comes to exciting moves, whereas mexian and japanese talent are good enough to just go 'okay, tilt-a-whirl armbar incoming' - 'right you are' the WWE guys can't do that.

Plain and simple...he needs someone to do the work for him. The move does not work, unless his opponent carries him through the move. I think he's an awful wrestler, and blows more spots than an injured Sabu. The finisher he does off the top is an absolute joke! Who could take another man to the top rope, control him well enough and long enough to completely flip the both of them. It's ludicrous! Wrestling may be fake, but so is any movie or tv show. If it looks fake, you'll lose your audience.

I never said the jumps and gymnastics were fake, that's why I said that it took a lot of practice and teamwork to make most of the wrestling moves look convincing. Have you ever tried watching pro wrestling with the sound turned down or in slow motion. If you do you will see how many of the hits & punches are not actually making contact. I've personally seen matches where one guy has hit another on the face several times but never left even a red mark let alone a bruise. No further comments!
If you watch this very closely you will see that Mistico is being assisted in his move by the other wrestler. The move is synchronized in that both men must do everything correctly and on time to make it look good. I've watched pro wrestling for over 50 years and have witnessed many moves that appear to be outstanding to only later see how much practice and teamwork it takes to make it look convincing. Pro wresting is entertainment NOT a true sport. Go ahead and slam me now, but it's true.

Plain and simple...he needs someone to do the work for him. The move does not work, unless his opponent carries him through the move. I think he's an awful wrestler, and blows more spots than an injured Sabu. The finisher he does off the top is an absolute joke! Who could take another man to the top rope, control him well enough and long enough to completely flip the both of them. It's ludicrous! Wrestling may be fake, but so is any movie or tv show. If it looks fake, you'll lose your audience.

@GrandFunker WWE is scripted itself. Its not supposed to be UFC, or MMA, where only one person does the work for the moves. Its for entertainment purposes and they want moves to look good.

A good wrestler in my(and many others) opinion, does not rely on someone else to do all the work. When it's an obvious fake, no one will want to watch. So I say again...you are a jackass.

@GrandFunker This is ONE move. Sin cara does an awful lot of moves which do rely on other people, but some of them don't. The reason they make flashy moves like that is to get audiences... I agree with you if it looks fake, you'll lose your audience, but thats the reason theres always a few new moves / altered moves in matches. As you said yourself, its your opinion whether hes good or not - and I think he is - not many people could do those dives that he does. Thats my opinion, though.

@HellishWolf To be fair, Sin Cara's still adjusting to the WWE style. They seem to be teasing a feud between him and Chavo, which should help him settle in PERFECTLY in the WWE style.

I never said the jumps and gymnastics were fake, that's why I said that it took a lot of practice and teamwork to make most of the wrestling moves look convincing. Have you ever tried watching pro wrestling with the sound turned down or in slow motion. If you do you will see how many of the hits & punches are not actually making contact. I've personally seen matches where one guy has hit another on the face several times but never left even a red mark let alone a bruise. No further comments!

If you watch this very closely you will see that Mistico is being assisted in his move by the other wrestler. The move is synchronized in that both men must do everything correctly and on time to make it look good. I've watched pro wrestling for over 50 years and have witnessed many moves that appear to be outstanding to only later see how much practice and teamwork it takes to make it look convincing. Pro wresting is entertainment NOT a true sport. Go ahead and slam me now, but it's true.

@JoelLandis You probably think I must be pretty slow. I never said that it took me that long to realize that wrestling was fake. I said that I've watched it for over 50 years. When I used to go to live matches you would find the guy with his bib overalls and works boots sitting beside the man and woman who were dressed like they were going out to a fancy dinner. Strange as it may sound I actually watched people more than the matches until the main event. It was funny how they acted the same.
