I'm abusing the replay button. I've been a big fan of Evanescence for eleven years, and I still adore Amy Lee. I also heard Carly back on American Idol and she was my absolute favorite out of all the seasons I ever watched. Combining her with a genre of music that I love just makes me feel amazing. This song is great, too. I just wish people would stop being so butthurt about the Evanescence controversy. Amy Lee has her own band, Ben Moody has his. The music between the both of them is great.

Everyone gets their own meanings and ideas from songs/music and I believe Ben Moody wrote this song about Amy Lee. I believe he loved her very much and always will. While I do like Carly as an individual, I feel like Ben Moody found himself another girl to basically rebuild Evanescence, minus Amy. While that Bury Me Alive song is actually good, I think that this one and another one I skimmed through use lyrics that are just so similar to old Evanescence songs that it's pathetic. Then again, like everyone else said.. if you want to listen to a typical goth band, this is what you'll get. I prefer something fresh, not recycled lyrics from the last band.

Im not gonna lie Im starting to like Carly as the singer for the band. Sucks Evanescence had to split up but Amy lee wanted to do something else. The New Evanescence songs are a bit 2 pop for me. Miss Lee is obviously more creative and a prolific songwriter. Which in truth, is a rarer/more precious thing than a strong set of pipes.
