the location reminds me of lost... the intro from survivor africa is much better. but i have to say this is the coolest place survivor have ever been.

Unfortunately, this intro is not as good as the previous are. Hope it will not have any effect on the whole show because previous 3 seasons were awesome. Do somebody know the hidden immunity system? Hope it will be similar to China....

yes, Africa and Vanuatu have those 'tribal' feel. This didn't

the composer of all Survivor theme songs went to Africa for season 3 to capture the essence of Africa and put it into a song (like in China) so it was pretty cool. Both Africa and China didn't have the normal "eh lo lei lo" if you listen close, they both had chants

i agree.... this intro sucks. but i think a lot of it has to do with a focus on the fact that its high definition now, which would explain the nightvision shot and a few other things.... i like palomas and mattys and gillians intros

Wow.. I don't really get the praise for this intro. First off, their action shots are really bland. The only good ones are Dan, Crystal, Matty, and Ace. Majority of them are just clips of them walking and smiling ... boring. The back-to-back action shots don't bother me but they could've made it more like China's which had interesting clips. Nightvision Leopard thing is so out of place. The clips go horribly with the music. Not very many EPIC scenes.. Great, Fiji Redux.
