  • Good playing there. Considering what you noted above ("first take" and all), I'd say this is a darn fine performance.

  • wowwww, your amaaaazingg! i am totally inspired, i cant wait to be a profession muisican!!

  • good work! keep on! hang on!

  • trying to! lol! thanks!

  • Terrific :)

  • Cheers :)

  • the suggestion for PRACTICE with a metronome WAS NOT a suggestion to PERFORM it metronomically! Hey, even in the foreword to in my initial Schirmir edition of the Chopin Etudes, it says that Chopin always had his students practice with a metronome! "Tempo Rubato" IS NOT an excuse for INCESSANT rhythmic sloppiness, which metronomic practice would eliminate! Metronomic practice would ultimately be the basis for an artist's fluidity while rendering any repertoire

  • ...that's fine, if you like - I'm just saying it's most likely irrelevant on an etude like this. After all, it's the same foreword printed on other Schirmer editions of Chopin, where such instruction would perhaps be more relevant.

  • Considering the difficulty of extended chords, you pulled it off pretty well : ) Keep it up!! Bagus!

  • Haha thanks! Needs more work indeed ^^

  • Thx for sharing !

    Keep on the good job.

    All the best :)

  • Glad you enjoyed it ^^ thx!

  • Cool! Thanks for your comment!

  • A very good first attempt! Way to go ^^

    Remember dynamics ;)

  • Well, it started quirky-sounding, but you sure evened out and it sounded pretty good throughout after that! A very good first attempt

  • Yay!! Thank you!

  • indeed, the key for evenness during performance is practicing with a metronome! It is documented that Chopin strictly practiced with a metronome: "tempo rubato" was an expressive technique, only to be applied judiciously -- metronome practice would alleviate the unevenness.

  • ...no, the metronome won't for a piece like this, if one's technique is not good (like mine here, to some extent). and tempo rubato on an etude like this would be pretty imaginative indeed...hmm...

  • Ha orang Indonesia ya??

  • ...yeap =)

  • Remember which way your wrist is going and allow some variety of touch with the music it is not always loud .Remeber it is Chopin and MUSIC first not just broken chords .Play the chords to yoself.Make music out of this and then u have a blueprint for what to do. This is just a mess of notes with loud bass .not bad but u can do more if u think about the music FIRST .Try accenting thumb and fifth then second ,4thfinger and u wil c their r many ways ofplaying this !

  • ...thanks for the thought =)

  • even though its fluent your wrist appears slightly stiff and you are forcing the speed, let it flow musically, btw great job

  • I agree. My wrist was indeed stiff such that I hurt it after a few runs. I'm working on it again now ^^

  • ini kren banget, mamaku bilang kupingnya sakit dengerin kayak begituan tapi aku paling suka denger musik klasik yang begini, keep a great job!!!^v^ btw im 12

  • oh gitu ya...yg ngerekamin ini juga suka yg beginian...hahaha makasih udah ngedengerin =D kalo ada waktu liat-2 yg lainnya dong ^^

  • Aduh acak2 an....Mendingan di delete aja...

    Your Ballade is very good.

  • hahah lol iya ya...entar kalo udah diperbaiki nanti gw upload lagi dah ^^

    Thanks for listening!

  • Interpretasinya sich udah bagus dan kecepatannya udah boleh, cuman tangan kanannya aja banyak salahnya.

  • Inzomma...

  • Haha credit where it's due: Chopin's on a roll here!

  • boleh jg..

aku jg lg belajar etude ini..

tp tangan kecil, agak sulit jg..

    hehehe..

    anyway..

    that was a great job..!!!!

  • wuah makasih udah dengerin ^^

    look forward to hearing yours!

  • Pretty good but definitely can get better. Practice at slower speeds hitting every note correctly and then work your way up in tempo. Be sure to practice with a metronome too. There is no need to play a piece that is not ready.

  • Ahaha I did need to bring this piece back up for an audition (I didn't put this in of course) and I put this up so ppl (like you ^^) can suggest how to improve or if I'm doing anything wrong, cos my wrist hurt after the 6th attempt or so...

    So thanks for ur suggestion!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA diz iz actually

  • thanks! ><

  • Hello! It goes without saying that you are doing great! To continue to refine it, I would suggest a less aggressive approach and think of it more melodiously. Believe me, I know this etude is a bear!

  • Thanks for taking your time listening and commenting! Much appreciated!

  • I think you manage it extremely well. Wish I could play like this!

  • Thank you...that's too kind.
