what is a washplant pond?

@anewbeggining21 usually for a quarry... takes the water washes the stone to get the fines out.. then it goes back into a pond and the fines drop to the bottom. so either this is after the stones washed.. which prob is for demucking it.. or could be making pond bigger to hold more water for the wash plant.
