Yeah...I'll take classic, independent Channel 11 (WPIX) over an affiliated network channel any day... But, let's talk Nikki one more time...0:54--look at her in that light-blue top and that piece of Hefty Bag she probably considered a "skirt" at the time. Yeah...I was so hot for that chick back in '95-96, it was a shame! :)
"Cleghorne!" Yeah, that didn't stick around too long. I like Ellen Cleghorne, too. (She's from the borough just like ME! :)) Funny thing about that show...the name of the show was named after her, but, her character's last wasn't "Cleghorne." I can't remember what her character's last name was, but it started with a "C." But, anyways, I liked the first 2-3 years of The WB. "The Wayans Bros." & Nikki Cox! 'Nuff said! By the late-90's, however, it got too yuppie for me. I was done with it...
I have such fond memories of the WB when it first started in the mid 90's..I really miss those days. Just by watching this I can't believe I forgot about Savannah...I believe that was a good show that got cancelled.

Ahh... I remember seeing this once or twice. It's weird looking back on this "new" stuff as "old." The network really sucked, and still does, but the video takes me back just the same. Thanks, keep up the good work.
I don't know what WB you were watching, but it never sucked. As far as the upstart networks went, it was always miles ahead of UPN in quality, not to mention that it defined a generation with its teen/young-adult shows. Only half of this network's influences still exists through the CW, but you have to admit the merged network has seen far more success in its first two years of operation than the WB and UPN ever did as seperate entities.
You rock for posting this. I've never seen it.

They must have been in the revival of 77 Sunset Strip that never aired.

Where'd you get THIS version from, Eye?
I don't think this one ever made it to air, especially considering that...
a) I never saw this version
b) there are consistent references to the new version of "77 Sunset Strip" (Hello, Baaa-BY!") which never even made it to air.
How'd you get your hands on this rough copy?

This did not make air, it was for use at the WB affiliates meeting, I got this off a satellite feed.

I never watched the network much. The shows were just awful and the promos vomit-inducing with all of the dubba-dubba crap.

Savannah was a good show, it became too expensive for the WB to justify producing with the ratings it was getting.
