Probably a bit harsher than I intended. But nonetheless, there is a lack of artistic get up and go in the UK. We keep on harking back to old glories, but where are the new Lydons, Strummers, Hammills, Morrisseys, Curtis' and so on?

i agree with both, i feel i'm definatly losing faith with the british music scene at the moment. It seems anyone who has a bad perm, went to art college and knows 4 guitar chords can get signed at the moment.

Thanks for the comment QueenConsternation (and Progorama and vedder12 as well). Once again, it seeems, us Brits must look across the Atlantic for inspired music.

I must say that Mr Dulli looks pretty much the same as he did 15 years ago - but Mr Lanegan? Almost unrecognisable, until the deep timbre of his voice rolls into the song, that is.
