Being a jd tech and a firefighter the combine was a total loss from the minute it caught on fire, it has a plastic fuel tank whats (not) cool is it melts then dumps all the fuel on the ground under the combine and poof up in flames in under 2minutes well you can see for your self what happens
no because if the fire in the field spread to the trees it wouldve burnt down the forest. my uncle is the man who owned the combine and i seen it personally/
Thanks for the video! Loved when they charged the line and made the guys dance. Driver did that to me once and almost knocked me out trying to grab the hose.
Ouch!! Sorry for your loss; locally, we had quite a number of wheat field fires during harvest last summer (southwest ND); that stuff burns scary-fast when it takes hold!
I had to convert it and crop it as it was too long or too much for YouTube, and lost the audio. I will post another one shortly at the end of the fire.
OK,it's toast...get at the field......

Wouldn't it have made sense to put the combine out first instead of letting it burn while they tried to put the field out? That doesn't make sense.

The combine is a complete loss. You might as well keep the field fire from spreading
