@lilhpster I do miss my dreads, but the gain is more than the miss in this case. I'm totally low maintenance, so those dread locks were truly my perfect hair style. However, the freedom to change and continue growing as a person is the part that is worth it. Look how much fun I can have with soft hair now - cornrows are kind of low maintenance - for a week or so!
