Yeah, there was definitely an understandable sarcasm, but it didn't halt the interview at all. With say, Chris Matthews in a disagreeing like this where the host's knowledge on the matter and even his intelligence is questioned by Evans, it probably would've been more aggressive and less point made from the author.
