  • Hey hw did u get past the Anti-Piracy?

  • You buy it.

  • @Wtfouk well Demiath's video doesn't look like he bought it

  • @mineowyn well he did not ask how to make it work on youtube at least

  • @Wtfouk and so what if I do? If he wants to reveal it he'll reveal. If he doesn't he'll ignore me. kapeesh? There are more videos teaching you how to pirate games on youtube than any other site so cut the holier-than-thou shtick.

  • I've bought the game (or, to be precise, my import copy is on its way from the US as we speak), but this video obviously shows a ROM on an emulator. As far as I know, at the time of writing the game's anti-piracy can be avoided on some flashcarts as well as some emulators, but nowhere near all of them.

Since it's my policy not to promote piracy on this channel (especially not of awesome games like Strange Journey) I personally won't be providing more information on that subject.

  • P.S.

The introduction to this game is more than an hour long. I find that badass.

  • Actually, that's one of the things I don't like about the game. Strange Journey is a dungeon crawler with Megaten demons, does anyone really need more introduction and story exposition than that? Plus, it's not like the DS is the ideal platform for complicated storylines and lengthy dialogue scenes (still images and text boxes tend to get boring after a while).

That said, I'm really interested in what effects the whole alignment system and roleplaying will have on the overall gameplay...

  • "still images and text boxes tend to get boring after a while"

    Never!

  • Well, let me rephrase that. Still images and text boxes can work great in well-written Interactive Fiction, for example, but in a retro-style RPG I just want to get on with the dungeon exploration and focus more on the battle mechanics and less on the (mostly linear) character interaction.

  • The intro is probably the most text you'll see through out the game, from what I've seen anyways. Five hours in and I'm loving it so far.

  • Man, you have no idea how addicted I am to this game. Holy Jesus is this game good.

  • I can't wait to play this, I preordered it so it should arrive in maybe a couple days.
