My only problem with this is the fact that Eric tried to sing too deep. When he plays live he sings with a more higher pitch and I like that, it makes the drummers all sound unique. I like hearing Eric singing live better because he's doing his own thing even while wearing the Catman makeup and it makes him a better player by not trying to do a full on Peter Criss impersonation on stage, he brings his own things to the table you know.

To me Eric Carr and Eric Singer are far superior drummers compared to Peter Criss, and Tommy Thayer is way better than Ace, Vinny Vincent, but equal to Bruce Kulick, even though Bruce did not sing.
Kiss as other bands has changed I believe that Gene and Paul always choose good members and musicians and I have to tell that Eric Singer and Tommy are great for me. Kiss still Rock and that's the most mportant thing for me!!!!

I saw them in concert at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto tonight. They played for about 2 and a half hours! All their hits, and about 3 songs from Sonic Boom.

I don't hate Thayer or Singer. I think Singer is a great drummer. (I don't think Tommy is that good. Run of the mill to me.) As a FAN, I choose to follow Gene's instructions. I told him I don't like anyone else in the originals makeup. He told me"Buy what you like and leave the rest." I support Eric in his Revenge lineup, but not in his guise as a Peter imitator. As for Tommy, Gene noted in his book that he hired him because he didn't think he would make it in ther music business.
To be a KISS fan, means you should like EVERY generation of KISS music (yes, sadly that means even the non Ace/Peter years *you can go cry now). That's exactly what I am. A FAN. I give everyone who's ever been in KISS their dues. EVERYONE paid a price to be in KISS and now they sound better than they ever have. Rock on guys!!!!

I find some suit the band better than others having said that I listened to a few 80's songs the KISS is performing live now & Tommy is capable of mimicing Ace, but fares worse when playing Vinnie, Mark, & Bruce stuff. Eric Singer on the other hand is not a cover band drummer, so he can do it all. Tommy was Ace in a cover band. Still Sonic Boom is not that bad. Some tracks are better than others. It isn't another Destroyer as they ALWAYS claim.

To me Eric Carr and Eric Singer are far superior drummers compared to Peter Criss, and Tommy Thayer is way better than Ace, Vinny Vincent, but equal to Bruce Kulick, even though Bruce did not sing.

Kiss as other bands has changed I believe that Gene and Paul always choose good members and musicians and I have to tell that Eric Singer and Tommy are great for me. Kiss still Rock and that's the most mportant thing for me!!!!

This is the best song on Sonic Boom! I wish that they would play this one Live!
I saw them in concert at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto tonight. They played for about 2 and a half hours! All their hits, and about 3 songs from Sonic Boom.
Excellent show as always!

i only say this no hate nothing i been a kiss fan all my life and i think that eric is a too much of a thight drummer for kiss if you listen to the klassics on the sonicboom album you know what i mean peter got the swing on his drum but any way i think that sonic boom is the best album after destroyer thats still my number one and the show in holland was fucking amazing there fucking good musicions and thats why i only have one compinion and that is what i wrote here above

Eric and Tommy are good professionals and they have my respect but they will never ever be Pete and Ace who are legends of Rock music... although Gene and Paul own the rights of the KISS brand deep in our souls we know that now there is

If have to say to everyone who doesn't like Eric and Tommy because they're wearing someone else's make-up, fuck off guys. Do you think they came into the band and said i WANT to wear the old make-up. Besides, both Eric and Tommy are better on vocals and their instruments than Peter and Ace. I have to say i think KISS was at it's best with Eric (Carr) and Bruce.

I don't hate Thayer or Singer. I think Singer is a great drummer. (I don't think Tommy is that good. Run of the mill to me.) As a FAN, I choose to follow Gene's instructions. I told him I don't like anyone else in the originals makeup. He told me"Buy what you like and leave the rest." I support Eric in his Revenge lineup, but not in his guise as a Peter imitator. As for Tommy, Gene noted in his book that he hired him because he didn't think he would make it in ther music business.

To be a KISS fan, means you should like EVERY generation of KISS music (yes, sadly that means even the non Ace/Peter years *you can go cry now). That's exactly what I am. A FAN. I give everyone who's ever been in KISS their dues. EVERYONE paid a price to be in KISS and now they sound better than they ever have. Rock on guys!!!!

This a a KISS tribute band!!! Nothing can compare to the real and original KISS of the 70's!! Nice try, but no comparison!! Although the KISS tribute band are ok - none of these songs will ever be hits like the original songs!

I just don't like Eric and Tommy wearing make up that does not belong to them.
Kiss Pushed Bruce Kulick out of the band.with out blinking an eye. I just think there best line up was with Eric Carr and Bruce Kulick. I know bands change and move on,I understand that. just doesn't look right.

I dont understant why ppl hate Thayer and Singer. They are both great artists and vocalists. I know noone can ever be more KISS than Ace and Peter, but these guys are great too. Thayer is a Ace fan and he was terrified to try to fit hes idols boots.

I find some suit the band better than others having said that I listened to a few 80's songs the KISS is performing live now & Tommy is capable of mimicing Ace, but fares worse when playing Vinnie, Mark, & Bruce stuff. Eric Singer on the other hand is not a cover band drummer, so he can do it all. Tommy was Ace in a cover band. Still Sonic Boom is not that bad. Some tracks are better than others. It isn't another Destroyer as they ALWAYS claim.

@MonsterKaraoke the members are really irrelevant, HOWEVER, the makeup belongs to the original lineup...either they should change the makeup out of respect to the original lineup (who came up with the individual characters), or they should take the makeup off!!!...they did it before...people forget that...new fans coming up are probably confused...who are Ace/Peter?...it's not honourable when Gene and Paul make people ask these questions...

@jimjr155 True...I love the old members but time moves on. I had no problem with Eric Carr & Vinnie Vincent replacing Peter and Ace - BUT, they had their own persona and makeup. Is it too much to ask Gene and Paul to respect the "KISStory" and have Tommy and Eric come up with their own identities? It not only insults Ace and Peter, but also says they don't have faith in new members to be creative. I do miss Bruce, who was kind of brushed off after the "Unplugged" gig.

The new guys should've had their own original make look like Eric Carr did. Doen't seem right to replace Peter & Ace like that. As far as this song and this new guy, he's ok but in no way is he better that PC...he sang some really good classic songs better than this and PC's voice rocked better.

the song is good but the sonic boom album sounds a lot like a 1980's kiss album, not classic kiss.I love kiss with and without makeup.this album just seems to fit in better with albums like crazy nights or animalize, not destroyer and love gun.

Peter Criss was there from the beginning and he was the first to don the makeup and tights.Not Eric.Eric Singer still is freakin awesome,though.I like music like this more than slow songs like Beth and Hard Luck Woman but Peter still is better

@viperjordan29 The problem is that they are portraying Peter & Ace. If they had original make-up there wouldn't be as many complaints. Do you honestly think Gen or Paul would allow someone else to go on stage in their place wearing their make-up you are nuts. The proof was on Gene's show where they went on as a 3 piece. If they can have a drum tech or a guitar tech in makeup ready to play why not Gene or Paul. That is the problem I have. Personally I love Ace, but my next favs are the 2 Erics.

@TNO73 the thing is, the reason Gene and Paul can never be replaced is that they do most of the stunts and write and sing most of the songs. I like Ace better than Tommy Thayer because i believe Ace is a better singer and guitarist, not because he was original. Plus i like both Erics better than Peter cuz they're both better singers and drummers, this song is proof. The KISS Army should stop fighting itself and join together to fight haters and people who like all of todays crap music!!!!!!
