Im looking for a analog style version of the boss ds-2 on the turbo mode, would the xotic bb mb be good, or is there a pedal that you think is closer to that kind of sound?
I already own a ds-2 but want a similarish pedal made from better components and will have a better sound over all, cheers
How does the heat blaster compare to the crunch box? I'm looking for a crunchbox with a great low end punch, little less honky, but with about the same dimensions. Anything you could recommend?
@Sick1982 It's a different sound, really. The HB is not as full-on as the Crunch Box, a little more controllable. I prefer this one on stage because it's a little more dynamic and cuts through the bass and drums, like most Providence pedals do. The Crunch Box is still great, though, just a little more aggressive. :)
When I quit making videos (soon) I'll tell you. At the moment though, I'm trying to help the industry (and my collection) and comments like that wouldn't do either of us (the industry and me) any good.
No, no. You're cool. It's a GREAT question. It's just one I'm not prepared to answer right now. I can't in my position. I don't think Andy or Gearmandude would either. Too much baggage! :)

@Juantizzle Sorry, I'm not overly familiar with either of those pedals. Anyone else?

Hi,
I bought a brand new "Heat Blaster" pedal few days ago.
After testing the pedal, I found when I played some rhythm, the tone is just a little "fuzzy".
My Gain setting is about 2 O'clock.
Level setting is 12 O'clock.
The low cut switch setting is "Normal"
But I feel the fuzzy tone will be not so obvious when I turn the switch to "Low Cut".
I'm confused if the fuzzy tone is normal.
Thanks a lot !
